"Doesn't getting in trouble get boring to you?" I ask him.

Daniel shrugs his shoulders nonchalantly as he takes another drag from him cigarette. "Nope. Instead it gets exciting every time. You should try it. It's a lot of fun."

He grins at me over the cigarette. My knees tremble a little at the look he's giving me. I grip onto the balcony handrail as I gaze at him from the other side.

"No thank you. I enjoy being good and respecting the law." I say hastily.

Daniel mumbles something, but I can't hear him over the loud sounds of car horns and yelling.

Sophia Mason is the type of girl that if you try to read her, no matter how hard you try, you'll never understand her. Coming from a hostile home, Sophia has learned that being a good girl will win you many achievements. Ever since she was five, she has always stuck to that saying.

Daniel Stevenson, on the other hand, is the exact opposite. Also coming from a hostile home, Daniel has learned that being a bad boy will make life much more interesting. Ever since his parents got a divorce when he was fifteen, he has always stuck to that saying.

One drowsy New York day, Sophia finds out that her next door neighbor's troublesome brother will be living with her. She promises to herself that she would stay away from someone like him.

That is until she sees him at her front door, shirtless. One look at his defined body and stunning blue eyes, Sophia immediately falls for him. Except she can't help but be reminded that he's trouble, and he's not someone that she would date. Just the thought of her parents being disappointed with her choice of men, scares her.

Will these two be able to get together despite the obstacles they will face?
