I look out the window to see it was no longer rainy, perfect. "Hey Ike?" I turned to him and he was playing on his DS. "Haaallloooo!" I shouted and he looked up. "What?! I'm in the middle of a battle and my units about to- okay never mind their dead... What's up?" I chuckled and pointed to the window. "It's not raining anymore, I think we should go meet so of the people that go here!" He groaned and laid upside down on his bed. "We have each other! We don't need other people!"
"Ike that's not how it works.. What if one of us moves away? Goes to the hospital? What if I DIE! Then what would you be? Lonely is what you'll be."
"If you move, I move with you, I'll be at your bed side for the hospital thing, and I'll make sure you don't die." I smiled, no one ever said something like that to me before... Not even my own family. "Thanks but... I already talk to some people in one of my classes... Some how.... And I'm going to text them if we can-" Ike ran and tackled me, taking my phone away from me and ran outside the dorm yelling, "I don't want to socialize!" I quickly ran after him, have forgetting that we both are in pajamas...wearing bunny slippers...
"Ike I swear if you break that phone!" I yelled at Ike as he turned a corner. "Nah buddy, you can just buy a new one if I break it!" Ouch... Why did the word buddy hurt...? "Ike I'll throw my slippers at you if you don't stop!" That made him stop. He looked down and saw he was wearing his blue bunny slippers. Ike turned on his heal and walked back to me, handing me my phone. "We been running around in these screaming haven't we?" I nodded. "Did anyone see?!" I don't recall seeing anyone in a blur as is for the first exercise I had in weeks chasing Ike. I shook my head. "Good.." He sighed, "so how are the people you met?" He asked questions about them as we shamefully walked back to our domain.
"They're pretty nice, but two of them drink which means, parties and beer." "What's the problem with that? Beer isn't that bad and we're at age for it... Kinda." (Don't under age drink kids!) I nervously laughed, I like the idea that he's warming up to people like I am but.. "You never drank have you?!" Ike shouted and leaned forward to me. "Yea-" "Lier! Dude you're like what 19 and haven't drank?!" (Once again don't under age drink, this is just a book so chill.) "N-no..." I looked down and Ike put his hands on my shoulders. "We are going to a party if they ever have one!And don't say no, I'll carry you with me if I have to." I blushed and shook my head frantically. "I'll go if you want me to." Ike smirked, "Good... I don't want to have a social anxiety attack alone." I sighed. Never drank, never been to a party, and I'm just now leaning how to socialize correctly, how the hell am I going to- Bing! I looked down and my phone.
Text from Addy
Outside of your dorm section with everyone else. U coming or wat?
"Hey Ike, their outside already so uh... Get ready." He nodded and walked to his dresser, I did the same. I pulled out a black/gray flannel shirt, a white shirt to match, and normal jeans. Being Ike he just slipped a hoodie over is pajama shirt and changed into skinny jeans.
We met the group of people from one of my classes outside. They were a...colorful pair. Addy blue and purple hair, with a white shirt and booty shorts (I'm sorry ;~;) and this guy, John, had a black beanie to cover his blonde hair, and he had thick black glasses to match his sweater. "Where's everyone else?" I asked as I walked up to them. "At Todd's setting up the party! It's going to be awesome!" I glanced over at Ike, hoping he'll make an excuse for us to not be up all night. He did nothing. "I-is there going to be beer..?" "Duh! Also a pool, should of told you that before hand..."
"Its fine we'll probably sat inside most of the time anyway..." She nodded and started to walk with John. "Ike I change my mind can we go back inside..." I whisper as I begin to walk with everyone. "Just... Let's try and go to it... Please?" I sighed, if it makes Ike happy I'll do it.
