Embry drove towards the mountains. They were a long way away, but Embry keep driving. Along the way they saw more zombies eating people, they stopped and picked one man up. He said he was bitten, Embry had seen all the zombie movies and knew he was going to become a zombie. The man said he wanted to get to the closest food shop, they dropped him off and the man left his bag. When they finally reached the mountains, there was a small hut, and river and just down the road there was a food shop. They got out and went into the house, Isabella saw it had a small generator. She tried the light switch and lights came on.
"We don't need lights on right now" Embry said
Isabella turned it off, they set up bedrooms amd put food in the cupboards and Embry went down to the food store. He had his sword in his hands, he walked in and saw no one. He looked around and found lots of food but left it. He went back to the house, to find Isabella sleeping on a bed, he cuddled up to her and wrapped his arms around her. She turned around and pulled him closer.
18 hours later
They Isabella woke up and moved to get something to eat, when woke Embry up at the same time.
"Good morning" Embry said
"Good morning" she replied "sleep well?"
"Yes did you?"
"Yes"
Embry got breakfast and turned the to on for a bit. Nothing. He went outside and looked around. He couldn't see much. Isabella came out and walked down the hill, Embry followed with his sword. Isabella walked in to the shops and looked around, Embry followed. They found fire wood and Embry took it to the house, when he came back. Isabella had lots of paper and pencils. They then walked back to the house and she sat down and started to draw. Embry watched while she drew. He saw her draw a house, then she drew lots of points on it. She put her pencil down and showed him the paper.
"This is our house, so we need to defend it" she said "this is what we're going to do.
Embry looked at the picture.
"Let's do it" he said.
He went outside and found lots of sticks, he spent all afternoon making them sharp and setting them around the house. Suddenly he heard a gun shot. He ran into the house and upstairs, he positioned the gun out a window. He saw a man running up the hill, he was shooting at something.
"What are you doing" Embry called out
The man turned and saw him in the window.
"Trying to survive" he said
"Stop shooting and come here" the man ran up to the house.
Embry fired a shot at a barrel and it exploded, the zombies all turned and went towards it. Embry ran downstairs and opened the door, he man came in.
"We can't stay here" he said
"We know we have to go" Isabella said "we should start packing" Embry ran upstairs again and kept watch he heard Isabella and the new guy moving stuff. It was afternoon by the time everything was ready to move, so they decided to leave first thing in the morning. The new man was called Smith. They all came upstairs after locking all other doors, Smith went into one room, and Embry and Isabella cuddled together again. They woke up to banging, Embry grabbed his rifle and sword, while Isabella got her pistol, they saw Smith sitting at the window.
"What's happening" Embry asked
"They hit the door and the bell rang and they all heard it, I've already moved everything upstairs" he replied
Embry aimed out the window with his rifle and shot another barrel and it exploded, all the zombies turned to look at it, but Embry had climbed out the window followed by Isabella jumped to the car and got in. Smith had a lot of bags and followed he put them all in and sat in the back, Embry drove off. Embry drove for hours and finally getting to tired pulled over, he fell asleep. Smith saw and put Embry in the back and he jumped in, he started the engine and drove off. When Embry woke up he saw Smith driving, he looked at Isabella but she was still asleep.
"Where are we going" he asked
"To the next town" Smith replied
"Why"
"Because that town is overrun with zombies, and we want to survive so we go to the next town"
Embry sat looking out the window, and watched trees go by, Smith pulled into a petrol station. He tried the pumps but nothing came out, he tried a car next to him. Petrol came out and he poured it into a jerry can, he then poured it into his car. Embry walked into the station and got lots of food. They then drove off and after an hour Isabella saw a town in the distance. They drove in but no one was there
