"Get on your knees, Claire! I'll give you to the count of three or I'll shoot you! " yelled a masked man dressed in black. He was holding a gun, pointing it at a woman's head. She had duct tape strapped over her mouth and she spoke with a muffled voice. "One, two..." he yelled, and she dropped to her knees. "Good girl, Claire. You can do as your told, trust me, that is a surprise." He walked over to a silver box with a padlock on it and shot the padlock open. Then, he lifted the lid and smoke poured out of it. His hand reached into it and he pulled out a syringe that was filled with a green liquid. "This can take as long as you want it to, Claire, but I don't have time to waste." he said as he walked towards her. "Hold out your arm, Claire!" he said and she did as she was told. He pushed it into her wrist and released all of the liquid into her bloodstream. She screamed behind the duct tape, and passed out. "I wouldn't of had to do that if you just told me in the first place...You lying piece of..." he stopped as he glanced at the door...it slowly opened and a woman crept through the small gap she opened. "Is it done?" she whispered and he nodded slowly as a smile gradually grew on his face. "We need to go...now, babe. Cops will be here soon. We drugged a cop, so they'll tear places apart to find her. Come on, babe." she said.
They went out the door, and ran into a bright light. There was a yellow sports car in front of them, the headlights beaming out a blinding light. "Get in, babe." she said. The lights shone at a street sign and I saw the door number. 90210 Bakersfield Street. I live two streets away. She started the engine and drove at high speeds down the road. I heard distant police sirens blaring, and they sped up. They drove past a murderer holding a knife, but the murderer ran up to the car. The woman looked at him/her (they were wearing a balaclava) and beckoned them to get in the back of the car. They drove off....

I screamed out. It was 3am, I fell asleep before I saw the...the...sixth sense respond. At first, I thought it was a dream but my mother came into my room and said, "Your sister is missing." ...

Authors note:
Hey, readers! This is a short story, not a long one. It would also have a sequel so you can read the next part of the story, if you really want to know what happens.
Don't be a silent reader, let me know what you think.

~Kiana~

Also, there will be a competition in the next chapter...

Happy reading....
