Krul's Choice

Hi guys it's me again. Remember that sequel I said I got an idea for? Well I finally got my thoughts together. So here it is. Hope you enjoy. Also this is probably going to be multichapter. Yay!

Yuu was resting his head against Mika's chest. He was breathing softly and his hands were entangled in Mika's shirt. Mika smiled slightly at him. 'He looks so peaceful.' he thought as he stroked his hair.

Mika looked outside as his blue eyes landed on the moon in the sky. 'I really should get back.' Mika thought. He was going to talk to Guren, but he really didn't want Guren to find him like that in the morning. And he didn't want Krul to come looking for him while he was with Yuu.

He careful seperated Yuu's hand from his shirt, as to not wake him up, and placed him down on the bed. Yuu reached out trying to find the warmth that left his side. Mika smiled lightly at him and leaned down to kiss his forehead.

"Well aren't you happy?" a voice said from behind. Mika's eyes widened as he recognized the voice. Worry spread through him as he stayed in position in front of Yuu. "What are you doing here Krul?" he asked.

Krul smirked, though she couldn't see it. Her red eyes glared at him. "I should be asking you that. I was wondering where you went. It's normal for you to be gone for a few hours but for the whole day. I got so worried when Ferid couldn't find you, I came to find you myself. But to find you here with your angel. I guess I should have seen it coming. But you know why I can't let you stay?" Krul asked him.

Mika lowered his eyes. He was sure he knew the answer, but he couldn't bring himself to accept it. Krul's voice lowered to a menacing growl. "The humans are weaponizing the Seraph of the End. If they get you too then the vampires are sure to go exinct. You've already seen the results of it on that Yuu of yours. "

Mika squeezed his eyes shut. "Stop it. Stop trying to change my ideals."

This caused Krul to chuckle. "You're so indecisive. I remember when you wanted to kill all humans. I remember that trick you played on Ferid and your guilt that came with it. Now you want to side with the humans again."

Mika turned around to face her, shock spread on his face. Krul laughed quietly. "Yep I heard your little exchange earlier. I never thought you could feel emotion, Mika. Let alone love. I hate that word. Love is useless. Love will only get you hurt in the end. And with a four year timespan seperated, how do you know? Seems you don't know your own emotions."

Mika shook his head and growled. "Don't tell me how I feel."

"Oooh. Defensive are we? No need to growl. I've a proposition for you. You could either come with me and I'll leave Yuu alone, but you can never see him again. Or you can turn Yuu and bring him with you. Not a bad deal if you ask me."

Mika lunged at her, but Krul grabbed his hand and bent it backwards. "Don't you dare think of turning Yuu." he growled through the pain. Krul just looked at him. "And you'll do what? I'm stronger than you. Now make your choice." she said as she let his hand go. She left through the window leaving a stunned Mika behind.

Mika cradled his hand as her words ran through his head. "Mika?" Yuu asked. Mika looked behind him to see Yuu stepping out of the bed. "What happened?" he asked examing Mika's hand. He hissed at the pain.

"Sorry." Yuu apologized. "What happened?" he asked again. "Krul happened." Mika answered. "I was about to leave so that way Krul wouldn't get suspicious but she apparently found me first. When she threatened you, I lunged at her and she did that to my hand."

Yuu growled. "Idiot, you don't just lung at a vampire." Mika could tell his anger was directed towards Krul and not him but it still kinda scared him. "Says you." Mika joked lightly. Yuu sighed. "Mika don't lie to me. There's something you're not telling me."

Mika ruffled Yuu's hair with his free hand. "I want to tell you, but I don't know how you'd take it." Yuu crossed his arms. "Just tell me. I'm sure it's not that bad."

Mika sighed. "Before Krul left she gave me two choices. Go back and forget you exist in trade for your safety, or turn you into a vampire and bring you with me. But the thing is, I don't want to do either of those. I don't want to leave you, but I don't want to turn you either. I coudn't do that to you."

Yuu hit Mika upside the head. "What was that for?" Mika asked. Yuu slightly glared at him. It was like four years ago when ever Mika said something Yuu didn't like. He would always receive a look that made Mika feel so guilty for no reason. "So what if she gave you a choice. You don't want to pick either of them don't. Make your own decisions." Yuu poked Mika in the chest. "Don't let people control you. If you don't want to leave me don't. You don't want to turn me. Don't. Do what you want to do. What happened to resolve from four years ago?" Yuu demanded.

Mika lowered his eyes. "The only resolve I had was to find you. Now that I have I don't know what else to do." Yuu smiled and placed his hands on Mika's cheeks, forcing him to look at him. "You'll figure it out. After all you got me to help you." Yuu smiled.

Mika grabbed his hand. "Thank you." Yuu nodded. "Let's figure out Guren tomorrow. I'm sure we can hide you till then. Kimizuki and the other's will help. I'm sure."

Meanwhile Kimizuki and the other's were talking in his room, on the floor, because they couldn't bother to use the couches. "Are you sure we can trust him." Mitsuba asked. She wanted to help Yuu as much as everybody else but she couldn't help but question him.

Kimizuki nodded as he stroked Yoichi's hair. The brunette was currently laying his head in his boyfriends lap enjoying the attention. "I'm sure he's fine. He didn't kill Kimizuki, and he had the chance to." Yoichi replied. "He had multiple chances. He could of just jumped at me from the shadows." Kimizuki said.

"That is true." Shinoa said as she put a finger to her lips. "Hmm." Mitsuba leaned against her girlfriend. "What are you thinking?" Shinoa looked at her. "I say we give Mika an interrogation. Mitsuba glared at her, but it wasn't really an angry look. It was more like a look that said, "Really?"

Mitsuba sighed. "You do realize that'll make him distrust us even more. Right?" "Which is why we let him interogate us back. A fair trade off. It's for Yuu's sake. I think he'll agree to that."

It was Yoichi's turn to sigh. "You do realize he might not even stay?" Shinoa looked at him. "Of course I know that. Were just coming up with something in case he does. Besides I highly doubt he'll leave."

Kimizuki nodded. "Good point." Yoichi sat up and yawned. "So if he's staying. How are we gonna convince Guren?" Kimizuki looked down on the ground. "We'll think of something." he mumbled. The others sighed as they got up. "Well we might as well get some sleep. No use worrying over it now." Mitsuba said as she left with Shinoa.

Yoichi flopped down on Kimizuki's bed. "You don't think he's a threat do you?" he asked Kimizuki. Kimizuki sat down next to him. "Nah. If he wanted to harm me he would have." he explained. Yoichi nodded as he fell into slumber. Kimizuki smiled down at him as he placed his glasses on the nightstand and fell into slumber beside him.
