Prologue
-------------
The cold, winter wind pinched at my face like a thousand knives pressing against me all at once. I rested my material-covered hand over my face, as if attempting to find heat in the process. I removed my palms from my face and in an instant the heat disappeared, being once again replaced by the chilling weather.
My footsteps echoed loudly, filling the eerie silence. I heard shuffling up ahead and immediately stopped, all sounds dying down now.
"Hello?" I called out to the distance. There was no response. I tried again and was greated again by the same enthusiasum.
I looked around once more and continued on walking. It was then I felt myself being pushed. A sharp pain ran up my theigh as I fell against the cold, wet floor.
"Well well well, what have we here?" A hoarse voice was heard from above me.
I looked up, shocked. It was hard to see because of the darkness, but I could sense him coming closer. I whimpered and leaned against the damp wall, the pain increasing as I leaned further into it. I couldn't stop though, he wouldn't stop coming closer...
He wouldn't leave me alone.
"I-I- Please- Who are you?" I croaked out. I was scared, alone and cold.
All I wanted to do was go home.
"Enough with the questions-" He walked closer with every step. I could see him clearly now, "Let's get down to business."
He was balding (obviously in his late 40's) and had a slightly growing beard. I shuddered, but not from the cold. In an instant he was by my side, holding a firm, strong grip on my blonde, wavy hair. A choked scream escaped my lips before he could stop me.
The man immediately raised his hand and slammed it onto my lips. I could taste the sweat, dripping off his hand and it made me want to cry, and never stop. I was breathing heavily and I could feel the salty tears soak my cheeks.
"If you scream I'll kill you." His rough, warm voice whispered in my ear, sending chills down my spine.
I started to shake. He reached for my breast and I whimpered away from his touch, causing him to pull my hair in frustration. His hands were everywhere.
I screamed.
"You stupid bitch!" He whispered furiously.
He removed his hand from my hair, raised his hand and backhanded me. He kicked me in my stomach, groans of pain escaping my lips. I looked up at the night sky... The stars were shining brightly. I screamed again and the man grabbed me and hauled me up.
He took a hold of my hair again but this time bashed it against the alley wall. Things started going extremely slow. I couldn't move, and I couldn't feel anything. Yet, in someway I could. I could feel everything. My eyes rolled into the back of my head and the last thing I registered was the bright stars, lighting up the dark black sky. And then nothing.
Nothing...
