The door squeaked open as Carolyn walked through the frame slamming the door shut with her foot. She's still probably pissed. I rolled my eyes and turned over on the bed so that I was facing the blank white ceiling. I heard her cluttering through the drawers in the kitchen as I got up finally and walked out of my room.

"Hey..." I trailed off embarrassed of our previous small argument.

"Hi." She muttered under her breathe refusing to face me.

Her back was turned to me as she was still looking through the drawer silently.

"Soo...you.. Um looking for something?" I asked trying to break the silence.

"Yes." Still giving me simple replies.

"Is there something in particular?.... Or is it something I can help you with....." I asked slowly beginning to assume that I might be annoying her a bit.... At least......

She stopped what she was doing as she pulled out a dangling object from the drawer and slamming it shut before letting out a deeply annoyed sigh. She walked past me grabbing her coat from the couch putting it over her shoulder as she put her other hand in her joggers' pocket.

"No. Thanks. I'll see ya later" she said emotionless walking out the door, slamming it once again. She'll get over it eventually I thought to my self as I scoffed and groaned heading back to my room. I looked out the window and notice that the sun was still out and about to set in an hour or so. I stretched and went into the bathroom to clean myself up a bit. I put on a light natural mask of makeup and let my natural curly dark auburn hair down. I walked out and put on a pair of leggings and red, white, and gray flannel, with a white undershirt underneath. All accompanied with a light gray coach scarf and a pair of light brown knee high boots. I looked at myself briefly in the mirror putting on the necklace from Tyson and gripping it tightly in my hand. I gathered the rest of my things and tucked the flower crown safely into my handbag. I was now physically ready to meet with Tyson. Emotionally? Eh. I'm okay.

I walked out the door leaving a note for Carolyn saying that I was going to the supermarket to buy some things for dinner. I was now on my way to our special place. What would I say to him when I see him? What does he want? He wants to talk, but about what? I'm so confused and a bit terrified. I pushed those thoughts away as I arrived to the city bus terminal. Minutes after paying for my ticket, the bus that would take me to the town I grew up in and where our "special place" also finally shows up. After about half an hour, I got off the bus inhaling the cool late Summer's air. I began to walk and make my way through the unchanged town. I climbed carefully up the steep hill and when I got to the top, I took in my familiar surroundings. The old log in front of the small fire pit, the one tree used for darts, the misty lake, and everything else was just a bunch of memories. The sun was starting to set and I decided to sit on another log that was near a bush waiting for Tyson's arrival. He shouldn't keep a girl waiting. I smirked and chuckled at my own trite remark. It was now starting to get dark and I began to get a bit impatient as I rolled a crushed soda can around with my foot. I took my phone out of my bag and check the time. 7:49 p.m.

"Where the hell is he?" I let out a breathe blowing on a strand of hair. I soon began to wonder why I was even here in the first place. I shouldn't give in to him. He doesn't deserve to have made me come all this way to hear his pathetic excuses. But I want to see him once more.... Hear what he has to say... His voice.

"God, why am I here?" I muttered to myself.

"I believe I should be asking YOU that"  a stern familiar voice said.
