When I got to school, there was this new boy staring at me. And of course, we had all classes together. GREAT. He was staring at me, and I could feel it. I looked back at him and mugged the shit outta him.
"Fuck is you staring at nigga?" I said.
"You." He said.
"Well stop." I said.
"Treasure and Anthony, would you like to share your conversation with the class?" Ms. Lay said.
"This nigg- this boy just staring at me." I told her.
"Thats no reason to curse him out." She said.
"Man whatever." I said.
The bell rung. "Thank God." I thought. I couldn't stand the sight of her face anymore. I heard her call after me but I ignored it. It was time for lunch. I walked down to the cafeteria with my bestfriend, Kenasia.
"Whats wrond with you?" Kenasia asked me.
"Nothing." I replied, knowing full well I was lying.
"Lie again." She said.
"I had a fight on the bus and now this new nigga won't stop staring at me." I told her.
"Who you had a fight wit?" She said.
"La'Kai." I told her.
"Ok." She said. I already knew what that meant.
"Naisa dont do no stupid shit!" I told her.
"Im not." She said.
When we got to the cafeteria, she droped her bags on our usual table, with my other friends, Tia, La'Riah, and Cherish. Kenasia looked like she was bouta kill somebody. When she dropped her stuff, I dropped mine. Tia, Riah, and Cherish already kbew what time it was. The walked behind me, and I walked behind Kenasia, and I knew I couldn't stop her. She had that "Im bout to fuck somebody life up" look on her face. We reached La'Kai's table and Kenasia asked her what happened to her face. She had a black eye, face prints on her face, and an icepack in her hand. I smirked, knowingly.
"That lil bitch is what happened to my face." La'Kai said pointing at me.
I slapped her in her face.
"Like I said earlier, fuck with me again." I said.
Out of nowhere, Kenasia, Cherish, La'Riah, and Tia just started beating the shit out of her all at once. I pulled out my phone and gave it to Kenasia, after she had calmed down. I pulled the rest of my girls of of her so they could get calm and collected. Once I made sure they were good, and made sure Nasia was recording it, I saw La'Kai tryna run. I ran behind her and pulled her by her hair, and told her that Im not to be played with. I went back to my table and ate like nothing happened.
(20 minutes later, dismissal)
I was walking down the hall, grabbing my headphones out of my locker. I slammed the locker shut after I had gotten everything I needed out of there. Then there was the boy who was staring at me in class this morning.
"You got hands huh?" He said.
"And you know dat." I said.
Once I really looked at him, I noticed he was really good looking, so I went with the flow for once.
"Can I get yo numba?"
"Sure."
"50434778--"
"Ill call you later."
"Aight."
I hopped on the school bus, heading home. My phone vibrated indicating that I had a text. It was from an unknown number.
"Wsp" the strange number texted
"new phone who dis?" I texted back
"Anthony." He said
"damn ya missed me afta 3 minutes?" I said
"allat dont matta" He said
"lmao" i said
"wyd" he said
"on the school bus, tf" i said
"wanna go to the movies dis saturday?" he said
"and see what?" i said
"STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON" he said
"Aight" i said
"alright" he said
"dont you have some where ta be, playa?" i said
"naw. ima call u later tho" he said
"u said dat last time and hea we are." i said
"im serious dis time foo" he said
"farewell fam" i said.
Hmmmm, I wonder what he has up his sleeves for Saturday.
