Thomas POV
"And the Eastport rebels lead 43-20 with 2 minutes left in the fourth folks, way to play boys..." Thomas tuned out the announcer as he leaned up against the fence. "Thomas, field party at Brunsons back 40 tonight. Your going you dont have a choice, Tiffany will be there i know you cant turn that down!" his friend Beau says next to him as he punches him in the side and smirks. "Cmon man you know ill be there, cant turn down a night like that especially if we win!" Thomas says to Beau "and as for Tiffany, thats just a added bonus" he finishes and winks. The crowd suddenly goes wild as the quarter back throws the final pass of the game "number 24 pass is complete to number 45 and THATS A TOUCHDOWN FOLKS HE MADE IT. THE EASTPORT REBELS CLOSE THE GAME 50-21!" the announcer excitedly proclaims to the crowd as people pour onto the field to celebrate.
Everyone was excited from the win, they all started to arrive one by one pulling onto the field, backing their trucks into a taillight circle. As his buddies started jumping out of their trucks unloading the spotlights, coolers, and fire wood suddenly the girls started pulling in. When he turned around he smiled, Tiffany was walking his way, "it was going to be a good good night" he thought to himself. just about that time the field came to
all at one time it seemed like the lights were on and someone was blaring a Brantley Gilbert song. He grabbed Tiffany by the hand and made his way to the cooler to grab a beer and get the night started. About 2 hours and a few beers later the party was still kicking, they were playing some country song he had hear a million time. He was on a tailgate with Tiffany on his hip, all of a sudden Georgia was the center of everyone attention. "Georgia Georgia," he thought to himself and chuckled a little. He looked at Georgia right then, beer in hand dancing in the headlights, and maybe it was the alcohol talking but he didn't see the girl he had grown up with, the girl he had countless baby pictures and memories with. Right then when Thomas looked at Georgia he felt something different, he couldn't quite explain it. All Thomas really knew about what he had just felt was that he did not want to be sitting by Tiffany anymore, he wanted Georgia and that confused him..."THOMAS! THOMAS! WHERES YOUR HEAD AT? We have a whole shipment due tommorrow, I need you at full capacity buddy. Head to your truck and get some rest." Beau told Thomas from acrost the fire, and just like that he was pulled out of his daydream of memories. He longed for Georgia so much, but that was then. With the lifestyle he lived, she doesnt deserve that. The only happiness he had was his memories.
