Chapter 1

Myles and Elizabeth have been best friends since the day they were born. Because they were born at the same time, same hospital, same day.

Because that their parents were best friends before.

They would always play together and they would get so excited when they see each other.

January, Friday 20, 1998

Myles and Elizabeth are laying on the ground watching the stars. Myles had his arms wrapped around Liz until all of a sudden he tickles her.

"Myles....stop." Liz said.

Myles didn't stop until she said, "if you stop I'll buy you vans." "Ok."

It was silent until Myles broke the silence. "Hey, Liz?" "Yeah?" "Have you ever worried about what will happen to the future?" "Sometimes, why?" "I don't know. Just asking."

They went back to laying down until Myles said, "marry me." "What?" Liz said with a confused face. Myles said again, "Marry me." "Myles, you're joking." Liz chuckled.

Myles said, "I'm serious. Marry me." "Myles we're only 6." "Who cares just marry me." "Myles!" "Ok, but promise me one thing." "What?"

"When we're older, and we're in love with each other, than will you marry me?" "Mmmm promise."

The cross their pinkies together and continued to watch the stars. Myles was staying the night so Liz's mom called them in for dinner.

They had pizza. Liz went up to her room to get clothes so she can take a shower but she went to her sister, Stephanie. Liz asked, "hey do you have a tank top I can borrow?"

"Yeah, but can I talk to you for a second?" "Sure." Liz sat down and Steph talked. "I know you have a crush on Myles." Liz's face turned red and she said, "yeah.

You know he asked me to marry him." "Awww, what did you say." "No but we promise when we're older and we're in love with each other we would get married."

She went downstairs and cuddle with Myles, and fell asleep while watching cartoons and movies.
