Bam! I sighed and fell into the water. Oh wait did I say water? I mean a slimy green liquid thing. I don't even know what it is. So now I'm greener than a frog. Actually people who are playing are calling me chicken frog. Yep! But I didn't care about that. I've fallen about 20 times and haven't seen Blake yet. Where is he?

I sighed. Maybe I was being to clingy. I mean he wasn't technically my boyfriend or even a friend in that case. I don't think anyways.  Maybe I should just forget about him. He's probably forgetting about me right now.

I looked over at the kissing booth. Cassandra was in charge of it. Oh my gosh I did not see that coming. Note the sarcasm.

The only good thing about that is that there's no line. I mean I don't like seeing her suffer or anything but it's just you know how it feels to see your archenemy suffer right? Doesn't it feel good? And wrong at the same time? But the good kind of wrong.

I dropped out of my thoughts and looked out at the line. I just realized that no one has hit me yet. I wonder what the hold up is. Then I saw it. My worst nightmare. I can't believe he was still here and how did he know about the fair? Oh right Cassandra.

"What do I get if I knock her down?" I heard a really familiar voice ask.

The guy who collected the money cleared his throat nervously, "um a teddy bear."

Lucas snorted, "are you serious? That's all you got? I'm surprised there's even a line."

You know ever since Lucas tried to take advantage of me that night and I called him the next morning, he's stopped talking to me altogether. It's really weird right? Now he just shows up out of nowhere and instead of a kissing booth, he goes to a game that had the most unattractive chicken in the world in a tank. Doesn't that mean anything to you? I don't know what's going on yet, but I have a feeling Lucas isn't just a regular guy. And not the he's so perfect kind either.

I sighed, "are you going to play or not?"

He shrugged, "well if I make you fall will you go out with me tonight?"

I shook my head, "Sorry I'm busy. Plus the prize is a teddy bear."

"How about a kiss?"

I groaned, "there's a freaking kissing booth. If you're that desperate, I'm sure they'll let you kiss them free of charge."

Whoa Charlie when did you get to be such a biotch? I was never this sassy in California and I never have any good comebacks. Ever. So why do I have an urge to talk back to Lucas? To beat him up? To show him who's boss? I don't know but I know I'm not going to be the same Charlie when I go back to California. That's for sure.

I watched as Lucas threw the ball and shockingly everyone watched as he missed. Yeah he freaking missed. I'm as surprised as you right now. I couldn't believe it but I'm kind of glad. I mean clearly he deserved it. He's such a butthead and he expects everyone to love him and fall down at his knee. Well I'm not playing hard to get or anything like that. I'm just the person he's never ever going to get. No matter what he does.

Lucas walked away glaring with a whole bunch of girls following him making the line a little more shorter. Thank you God.

I got hit about 100 times when the line finally ended. I mean seriously it was like a second after I got back up, I fell back down again. I will never do that ever again. I seriously hope my mom doesn't actually permanently live here or else I'll just have to stay with my dad for the summer. I can't stand this place any longer.
