Mikaido had arrived before she did. So as soon as she arrived the following day they should have been getting out of school and would meet up with her as soon as they could, bringing along their new friend Anri. Sighing Shizuku checked her phone for the last time before finally deciding to explore, fixing the straps of her backpack slightly she proceeded to head to the escalators. Moving her body slightly just to avoid as much human contact as possible, nothing made her skin crawl more than someone touching her without permission. Once on the surface she smiled brightly, amazed at how similar it was to Tokyo. The streets were bustling with people, cars speeding down the streets, school kids hanging out, delivery people making stops, different
shops. All these things made her need to explore become overwhelming.

Shizuku pov

I watched from my spot in the park as people passed by, all in groups or rushing to get to another destination. There were people from many schools and people of all ages wonder around. A group of school girls were rushing to some place with a bald man behind them, another group of guys wearing yellow laughing about something as they walked by. A blond man wearing a bartender uniform wearing sunglasses walking with a shorter man with dread locks and tan skin. A boy with brown hair and blank eyes wearing a Raira Academy uniform, the one I'd be wearing tomorrow. And many more, it all ceased to amaze me, I grinned streaching out my arms and chuckled while swinging my legs.

"It seems you are happy watching people. Could you be like Izaya?" A deep voice with a thick accent asked from behind me. Turning around slightly I grinned up at the amazing man, he was very tall, dark skinned, wearing a white uniform of some sort, bulky but seemed very kind.

Tilting my head at the man I shrugged, my grin still plastered on my face. "I don't know who this Izaya is, but I doubt we're alike." I paused dropping my grin. "I'm not watching people because I like them or find them interesting, I only laughed because for once in my life I'm free." Looking up at the sky I reached a hand out, "people don't know me here and that's how I'd want it. I can start anew and not worry about anything besides school. I'm trying to stay away from violence." He nodded smiling happily at me, before handing me a slip of paper.

"Come to Russia sushi. We have special, enjoy and eat happy and peacefully." He said before turning around and heading off. I shrugged before finally standing up and texting Mikaido.

Me: where are ya love? I'm at the park near the train station.

Mika: we're near by. Well swing by for you so you can meet Anri. Sorry I'm late......Masomi was being weird again.

Me: It's fine he's always been like that. Anyways how about I just meet up with you in front of the vending machines down the road. It's much more calmer and deserted so I can meet the new girl.

Mika: ok see you in a bit.

Putting my phone away I grabbed my bag and made my way to our meeting spot. Butterflies in my belly since I get to see Mika again and we get to go to school together. The farther I got from the park the less people were around, the less sound and commotion. Something I thought impossible in a city like this. I spotted the black haired boy quickly, I could feel the grin slitting across my face as I sprinted toward him. " Miiiiikkkkaaaaa!" I shouted leaping from one side of the street to the other so I could land on him as he struggled to keep balance so we both wouldn't fall.

"Gah! Shizu!!!! What are you doing! We could have fallen and gotten hurt." Mikaido slightly scolded me as he wrapped his arms around me, just as I put my feet down. Grinning I swayed us a little while pushing my cheek against his. He sighed heavily before smiling shyly. "I missed you too. You've only visited a few times after you left so I worry."
