Author POV

At the nearby hospital doctors and nurses were immediately on their toes when paramedics burst through the doors with multiple gurneys in tow. As the gurney holding the only female found in the crash was passed off one paramedic explained the situation. "Bad car crash all five are badly injured but the driver and the passenger need immediate attention." Listening to the paramedic a doctor took who she pointed out as the driver and passenger.

At the nurse's station, Amy, a head nurse was typing in the injuries reported by the paramedics. The victims were identified thanks to the wallet found inside of the passengers pocket. With a quick look into the database she had all the information she needed to put away proper files and try to contact their family.

Riker Lynch (23) - Broken neck, wrist, ankle. Possible skull damage. Possible amnesia.

Rydel Lynch (22) - Broken foot. Spinal damage. Temporary paralysis. Possible head damage. Possible amnesia.

Rocky Lynch (21) - Broken arms. Broken ribs. Internal bleeding. Possible head damage. Possible amnesia.

Ross Lynch (20) - Possibly paralyzed from the waist down. Definite head and neck damage. Coma.

Ryland Lynch (19) - Possible paralyzed arm. Concussion. Herniated disk. Possible amnesia.

Upon writing the patients files Amy found out they were a pretty popular family. She also found out they were young and had recently lost their parents from a unknown disease. Why do bad things happen to good people?

Riker Lynch POV

I slowly opened my eyes then proceeded to close them again from the pain the light gave me. From the smell alone I knew immediately I was in the hospital. But why? I remember having a good day with my siblings but what happened after that I landed in the hospital? My whole body was aching and each time I tried to open my eyes I felt a headache coming so I closed them again. With my eyes closed I heard the door opening and footsteps approach me. "Riker?" A ladies voice called out. I shifted my eyes for her to see that I was awake and she started moving around. "Can you try opening your eyes now?" She asked. I slowly opened my eyes and sighed of relief when the room was dimmed. "How are you feeling RIker?" She asked. "Horrible. Where are my siblings?" I asked as soon as I could properly look at her. "They're all being treated in different rooms you all suffered some horrible injuries its going to be a long but successful road to recovery." She said. I let what she said sink in and it all clicked at once. We were in a car accident.

Ross Lynch POV

I opened my eyes and was met with a all white room. It was huge like film set but the only difference was that there was one door and my parents standing next to it. I ran towards them and dived into their warm embrace that I had been missing. "Am I dead?" I asked knowing they were. They both laughed and I just stared at them. "No of course not son but you are in a coma." My dad said. "Why? How?" I asked confused. "Car accident all of you were hurt badly but you got it the worse." My mom explained. "Are the others okay?" I asked worried for my siblings. "Yes some are still asleep but they'll wake up tonight. You on the other hand might not." My dad said. "What?!? Why not?" I shouted. "Your body is really weak and if you go back things won't be the same for you." My mom said. "You'll need people to take care of you and you'll fall into a terrible depression." My dad continued. "So what I just give up and die?" I asked them in outrage. "We can't make that decision for you son but just know that any choice you make we'll always love you."
