Art styles.

As you all know Im going to vent in this, add a story here and there, so on. This here is where im going to vent.

Art styles...
I draw realistic and anime/manga art. Many people will tell me my art work sucks because it isn't realistic at all when I draw anime, but tell me that my realistic is too hype-realism. Im sitting there like What the fudge are you saying? Anime is too unreal but Real is too real? What?
People out there always have no clue what they think is "good art." All art is good because it is in it's own category. There are many categories such as Realistic, manga, abstract, etc. So you cannot say one piece of artwork is bad when it is truly good. Or at least that is how I was taught.

Question: What is your out look on this subject? That is if you have one. If you don't have one, How was your day? Or answer both! Your choice my friend!
