For my fur so soft,
To wake in the wild morning frost,
For everyday an adventure never lost,
For all the others I seek and sense,
In all the rivers I have crossed
For my fur, colours of fire and snow,
Notice me in the night, for my eyes will grow,
Humans may know me in the actions I show,
But there's so much more to me than they actually know
For I may be sneaky and sly,
You'll never know when I''m around,
But at night, hear me cry,
Hear me far and wide, low and high
And if you wish to find me,
Wait until nightfall,
Hear me under the waterfall,
See me in all my beauty and glory,
And let me inspire you to write this short story.
