Behind a forest on an Island far across the sea there was a village, this village was called Kainalu which means ocean that billows, in the old language. Behind this small village there was a forest. This forest was the kind of place where the trees are as thick as fog and the colors are as vibrant as a sunset. A palace where the leaves are just thin enough to let miniscule spotlights of light through to the earth below in an effort to reveal the creatures hiding in the shadows

Kainalu's population wasn't many. But it had enough people that the villagers of Kainalu still needed to grow a lot of food to provide for everyone. That is why the villagers relied solely on the weather giants to water their crops and keep them from being ruined.

But one day during a rainstorm, there was a loud booming clap of thunder, a bright flash of lightning, and then, out of nowhere it suddenly stopped. The people of Kainalu thought the rain would come back within a week but that was not the case. The drought lasted three weeks before the people realized something was wrong. But when the did realize they didn't know what to do.

Many people volunteered to go and find out what was wrong. But the elders didn't want to risk innocent lives so they created a test. A test of skill, strength, agility, and intelligence. The elders made the test very difficult so that only one person, the best person could figure it out. Many people tried and failed this test. After one week still no one had done it. The elders were distraught, they were frantic, they needed a hero.
