Back In High School

Here We Go

Axl woke up that morning filled with dread, today was the day, he was going back to school to earn his diploma. The only thing good about going back to school, was that he wasn't going alone, Izzy, Slash, Duff, and Steven were going with him. So at least he had some friends, he knew he wasn't going to make friends with these students anytime soon.

Axl finally got the initiative to get his ass out of bed, he grabbed some clothes from off the floor. He might as well take a shower, it was his first day after all, when he came back out Izzy was waiting for him with this irritated look on his face.

Axl: "What's got you all pissed?"
Izzy: "The fact that I have to go back to school with you isn't the greatest thing in the world"
Axl: "It won't be that bad...maybe"
Izzy: "I don't want to go!"
Axl: "It will be fine, if any asshole gives you trouble, I'll beat the shit out of him"
Izzy: "That's not what I'm worried about, I'm worried about being the stupid kid"
Axl: "You're not stupid!, you're gonna do fine...besides it's only the first day, so it can't be that bad"
Izzy: "I guess you're right...are you ready to go?, we still have to pick up tweedle dee and tweedle dumb"
Axl: "Yeah, hang on a minute I have to get some lunch money"
Izzy: "Oh crap!, that's what I forgot!"
Axl: "Here, I'll bring some for the both of us"
Izzy: "Thanks Ax, we really need to start going"
Axl: "Alright dad, I'm coming"
Izzy: "Shut up"

Slash was running around like a chicken with its head cut off, he couldn't find his hat. He had to have it, especially since this was his first day. Slash looked everywhere under his bed, under the big pile of dirty clothes, he just could not find it!. He opened the refrigerator to get something to drink, and low and behold there it was right next to the Jack Daniels. Well duh!, obviously it would be in the fridge. Suddenly the door burst  open and there stood Steven all decked out, Slash grumbled at the sight of him. He looked like a messed up version of Mötley Crüe, leather everything.

Slash: "Steven, what in the hell are you wearing?"
Steven: "Uh, what the cool kids wear duh!"
Slash: "I hope you get beat up"
Steven: "I won't get beaten up!, I'm too sexy for that"
Slash: "I don't mean by the students, I mean by Axl"
Steven: "Whatever, he's probably wearing something like this too!"
Slash: "Alright, whatever Steven...Axl and Izzy should be on their way"
Steven: "Oh yeah!, I'm all ready to go!"
Slash: "I'm gonna need to be your bodyguard the entire time we're there"

As soon as Axl and Izzy arrived Steven literally jumped into the car, Axl rolled his eyes and got in the front seat. Slash snickered and took a seat next to Steven, and Izzy just made an irritated grunt and got in the driver's seat. None of them were really excited about this, except for Steven who couldn't contain the smile on his face.

Slash: "Where's Duff?"
Axl: "He wanted to drive himself there"
Slash: *Looking over at Steven* "Lucky him"

Izzy pulled up to the humongous building, now it looked like Steven was about to pee his pants he was so excited. Axl was so nervous, he felt like throwing up all the butterflies in his stomach made him feel nauseous. He wanted this day to be over, Izzy heard the dreaded school bell, this was going to be a long day. Slash was trying to find Duff's car in all of this craziness, he finally spotted it and motioned Izzy in that direction.

Duff was leaning up against his car smoking a cigarette, Izzy pulled up to the parking space right next to him. Duff coolly put out his cigarette, and looked over at Steven who almost fell out of the car, Duff couldn't help but laugh at his clumsiness.

Duff: "What's he so happy about?"
Axl: "He's way too excited about this whole school thing"
Steven: "Uh, yeah!...I don't know why you guys aren't"
Slash: "There's a legitimate reason why we're not excited about this"
Steven: "You guys are a bunch of bawl babies!"
Izzy: "Let's just go inside and get our schedules so we can get this day over with"
Duff: "Yes, let's get this fucking day over with"

As the guys were walking up to the front doors, they were stopped by a couple of muscled up football players.

Axl: "Excuse us, we're trying to go inside"
Muscle Guy 1: "Look at these long haired ladies"
Muscle Guy 2: "Haha yeah, looking kind of pretty aren't we fellas?"
Duff: "Shut the fuck up and get out of our way"
Muscle Guy 2: "Oooh, someone's getting angry"
Axl: "Alright, you have 2 seconds to get out of our way or I will go apeshit on your ass"
Muscle Guy 1: "Fine, we'll move...see you guys around"
Steven: "Wooh, that was close"
Slash: "Oh, they're just a bunch of assholes, trying to get under our skin"
Izzy: "Well this is a delightful day from hell"
Duff: "Come on let's go"

They finally made it inside, there were a bunch of students yelling and throwing stuff everywhere. Once Axl threatened to castrate them, they backed off and let them through. They made their way to the front office, and they got their semester schedules.

Axl: "Oh jeez, I have advanced English!?"
Izzy: "You do?, so do I"
Axl: "Oh yes!, good!"
Duff: "I think we have most of our classes together"
Steven: "My first period is Geometry"
Duff: "Mine too, let's walk together...we'll see you guys after class"
Slash: "Alright"
Axl: "My first class is Biology"
Slash: "Yeah, me too, let's go Ax"
Axl: "Bye Iz, see you after!"
Izzy: "Alright"

This wasn't as bad a day as Izzy thought it was going to be, he looked back at his paper his first class was Art. That shouldn't be too terribly bad, he started walking in that direction passed all of the ninth and tenth graders. But he was suddenly stopped by the two football players.

Muscle Guy 1: "Where are your friends?"
Izzy: "They are in class, which is where I'm going"
Muscle Guy 2: "Oh yeah, so you're all by yourself?"

Izzy wasn't a big guy, he weighed 130 pounds soaking wet, this wasn't good. He knew that these guys could easily tear him apart, but nonetheless he stood his ground.

Izzy: "Would you guys move?"
Muscle Guy 2: "Ya hear that he wants us to move"
Muscle Guy 1: "Hmmm, well for us to move you need to pay a toll"
Izzy: "What the fuck are you talking about?"
Muscle Guy 1: "You know, money"
Izzy: "Yeah, not gonna happen muscle boy"
Muscle Guy 2: "Well, you leave us no choice"

Just then one of them picked Izzy up and took him outside...

Axl was sitting next to Slash, when he looked outside the window and saw Izzy being carried by one of the football players they saw earlier. Axl nudged Slash and pointed out the window, they both got up and tried to get out of class. Axl pushed past the teacher who was trying to keep them from leaving, Axl ran as fast as he could with Slash closely running behind him.

Steven and Duff were listening to their teacher discussing something on how to identify the lines on a hexagon, Duff wasn't really paying any attention to what the dude was saying. And Steven was trying to write down everything he was saying, Duff was looking around when he happened to looked out the window. His mouth hung open, he couldn't believe what he was seeing. Izzy was lying on the ground and Axl was beating the shit out of those guys they saw earlier, Slash was also joining in. This was going to be a great year Duff thought to himself, at least he knew that he had friends that got his back.
