Mia sat staring at the TV, checking her phone every 5 minutes to see if Suhaileo had tried to contact her.
"Mia, relax will you?" Jessania asked.
"I can't! He didn't send a BBM, a Whatsapp, a Skype, a tweet, a tag from Facebook or even a text... nothing!" Mia said in pure anger. She then realized something. Bianda had experience in these things. She could help.
Mia darted up the stairs and knocked on Bianda's shut door. No answer.
Mia quietly opened the door and peeked inside.
Bianda sat on her bed, earphones in, staring out of the window at the sunny weather.
She didn't seem to notice Mia's entrance, so Mia walked back outside and shut the door once more. She'd pester Bianda later.
There was a quiet knock on the front door but it didn't open. Someone they didn't know, then.
Mia walked to the door and opened it. She was never afraid someone would try and get past her or knock her out because she didn't expect it; there was always someone else in the living room.
"Neo! Is that you?" Mia asked with pure excitement.
"Mia! Hello! How have you been doing?" Neo asked with the same excitement.
"I'll tell you all about it inside. Come in." She motioned toward him. He nodded and walked inside. He took a seat nearest to the door.
He looked at home already.
"How did you find me?" Mia asked, shocked.
"I guess I just stumbled into you. I was actually going to ask to use your phone." He said, relaxing into the chair.
"Oh. Well sure. It's over there, use it as long as you like." Mia said and walked upstairs in case the call Neo wanted to make was a personal one.
As Mia was going to knock on the door, Bianda opened it.
"Oh hello. Something you want to talk about?" Bianda knew Mia so well.
Bianda opened her room door and motioned for Mia to go inside. She nodded and walked in. She made herself comfy.
"So, what's on your mind?"
"Well um..." Mia said with a blush.
"Ah... it's Suhaileo, huh?" Bianda said if she could read Mia's mind. Maybe she had.
"Well yeah. He hasn't talked to me at all today! Not a single message. Should I break the barrier myself or wait?" Mia asked.
Bianda had a book in her hand reading intently, very much not paying attention to Mia.
Mia was about to protest when Bianda spoke.
"Mmmm hmmm. You're in deep. So deep I doubt you'll ever get out." She said with a sigh and put the book back on her shelf in its original place.
"What do you mean, I'm in deep?" Mia asked, confused. Sure she had gotten the dirty side of it, but she doubted Bianda meant that.
"Mia..." Bianda looked away.
"Tell me or I'll throw a book at Maurishio's face." Mia threatened.
Bianda's tone turned ice cold.
"Do it. I'll rearrange his face into something uglier than what it is... if that's even possible." She said bluntly.
"His face is so ugly he makes the devil go to church, sittin' in the first row!" She dissed him.
"Ohhhhh snap! That's the best yet!" Mia said laughing out loud.
"Stop changing the subject." Mia said in a monotone.
"Mia, I believe..."
Mia stomped her foot.
"That you're in love. And you're in deep." Bianda finished.
