It happened, the worst possible day of my life. I was four years old when I moved from Changzhou China to Seoul South Korea. I was forced to leave all my friends behind, mom got her job moved to there. I have to learn a new language and make new friends. When we got there we went to our new house, but next door was a surprise.
My mother introduced me to a boy the same age as me his name was Kwon Ji Yong. He looked at me kinda funny, like I was some kind of weirdo. All in all that was the truth I'm not a normal person. I said hello "annyeonghaseyo jeoneun Kaminé eyo" my mom told me what I said in Chinese so I knew what I said was correct.
The boy looked to me and said "annyeonghaseyo jeoneun Kwon eyo." He had a kind tone in his voice, I felt good about knowing a little bit of Korean. Then I turned to him and said "mannaseo banawogo Kwon."
Once mom and I said goodbye to the Yong family we went inside our new home and unpacked our clothing and bedding, we had to wait for our mattresses and furniture which would be here in a week. My mom told me to go bathe and dress that we were going to the Yong families for dinner, so I went to my closet and grabbed my dinning clothes, took a bath and went in the living room. My mother walked out of her bedroom and told me I look cute.
We got our jackets, mine of corse was red and black. We got over to the Yong's family home a little early. Kwon came over to me and asked if I wanted to play with him. He had a book of the English language and he asked if I wanted to learn it. He and I are now able to say hello, funny, how are you and come play. We were having so much fun then dinner was ready, our moms came and got us.
After dinner Kwon and I went back and played for a while longer before I got sleepy. Kwon took my hand and guided me to my mommy. My mom asked Kwon to grab my jacket as he began to walk away I grabbed his hand and asked my mom if I could stay with him until I fell asleep.
