One More Day

I fear that tomorrow I'll awake and you'll be gone.
I fear I'll never hear your laugh, again
I fear you'll leave without a stretch of your scent left behind
I fear these halls will never feel the lusty force of your foot steps
Or these walls the illustrious echo of your voice.
I fear our room will be lonelier than ever
I fear I'll lose all touch with reality
I fear tonight will be the last time I kiss those lips of yours
The last time I feel your embrace.
Oh dear, I pray this isn't the last night I sleep next to you.
The last night you hold me close.
I pray this isn't the last night I hear you tell me you love me.
I pray I can keep you one more day.
