Chapter 5 - Jane

Patrick's POV



"Bro, ang aga naman natin dito sa school." Sabi ni George.

"Oo nga Pre, what's with you?" Tanong naman ni Johnny.



I told them to come here at 6:30 AM



"Mahirap kasing makisabay sa mga students sa gate. Pero kayong bahala kung gusto niyong ma stranded sa may gate dahil sa mga babae."



Pahirapan kasi talagang pumasok sa may gate lalo na dati naming school. Palagi na lang may haharang sa amin para makapag papicture o kaya naman kukuha ng number namin.



But that is just one of the reason why we came here this early. So that I have a company while waiting for her.



"Maybe you're right, let's go inside while they're not here." Sabi ni Johnny.



"Bro, look! Malapit lang yung basketball court sa gate laro muna tayo." Aya ni George.

"Tara!" I agreed tsaka baka mamaya pa dumating yun.

Habang naglalaro kami ay biglang dumulas sa kamay ni George yung bola kaya tumalbog ito papunta sa gate tapos...

"Shoot George!" Napatingin kami kay Johnny na nakaturo dun sa babaeng tinamaan ng bola.

I immediately run towards the girl who's on the floor.

"Miss? Are you okay? Nako sorry talaga, we didn't mean it. Come on I'll help you, kaya mo bang tumayo?"

I was shocked to find out who the girl is. It's Jane!

Yes, you read it right.

Flashback...

"Bro, saan tayo tatambay?" Aya ni George sa amin ni Johnny. Half day lang kami dahil merong meeting yung mga teachers namin.



"Tara sa mall para naman makapag unwind tayo. Puro na lang tayo review this past few days," aya ko sa kanila.



"Yeah right, that's my bro! Atleast pwede na tayo mag hanap ng chicks ngayon at kakatapos lang ng exams natin." Sabi ni George.



"Chicks ka jan? Puro ka na lang chicks kaya ayan mukha ka ng chikinining tinubuan ng mukha!" Pang-aasar naman ni Johnny.




"HAHAHAHAHA!" Sabay naman kaming napatawa sa kalokohan ni Johnny.




"Ikaw na 'Johnny Walker' ka nakakaasar ka ah?! Sa akin mo na nga natutununan yung tagalog ng 'hickeys', sa akin mo pa ginamit?" Asar na asar naman si George. "Pero maiba ako, why don't you have a girl Pat? In fact, we are the most popular here in you'll just need to choose one or more if you want."

"You know Pat, George's right. We never saw you going out with girls. Don't get me wrong but sometimes I thought of you as a gay? No offense pre."

Dahil sa sinabi ni Johnny ay sinamaan ko siya ng tingin, at alam na niya kung anong ibig sabihin nun.

"Chill, I'm just saying." Pahabol pa niya.




Hindi ko na lang sila pinansin at sumakay na ako sa sports car kong blue. Si George naman ay sports car na yellow at red naman yung kay Johnny.

'Mall'

Nauna akong makarating dito sa mall. Tsk! Ang bagal talagang mag drive nung dalawang yun.



Habang hinihintay ko sila, nahagip ng mata ko ang isang babaeng maganda, mahaba ang buhok, matangkad, maputi at makinis ang mga balat. I'm sure she's definitely gorgeous but I bet she doesn't know it. Naka pants and loose shirt lang siya with chuck's on footwear.

"Clarish!" Someone called her from afar.

"Pat!" Napalingon naman ako ng tawagin ako ni George. Agad kong ibinalik yung tingin ko dun sa 'Clarish' pero wala na siya.

Wait? Yung uniform niya, sa SBA siya nag aaral so hindi ako mahihirapang hanapin siya. I took my phone from my pocket..

"Bruno, I need you to find someone for me. Give me all the information about a student of SBA named Clarish. Email it to me as soon as possible, bye."

End of flashback...

I was able to composed my self when I saw her nose bleeding.

"Don't worry okay lang ako.." She said while trying to stand but..



I was able to catch her before she falls again.

Hala bessy, are you sure you're okay?" Sabi nung katabi niyang babae.




"Tara, I'll bring you to the clinic." I scooped her into my arms because I know that' she can't manage to stand. Then I whispered..



"Huwag kang mag alala, hindi kita pababayaan." Lalo pa ngayon na abot kamay na kita.

'Clinic'


I was just sitting at the couch while listening to their conversation...



'Bessy sorry ah, hindi ka tuloy nakapasok dahil sa akin.'

'Don't worry bessy okay lang yun, it's more important na ma check yung condition mo before akong pumasok sa class natin.'

'Papasok na din ako bessy, okay na talaga ako. Promise, malayo naman eto sa bituka hehe... Aray ko bessy!'

'Malayo nga sa bituka pero look at you, halos hindi ka nga makatayo kanina. Hindi pa tayo makakarating agad dito sa clinic kung hindi tayo tinulungan nung... Oo nga pala, kanina pa tayo nag uusap dito. Nakalimutan na tuloy natin yung tumulong sa 'yo.'

Finally! They remembered me.



I stood up and walked towards them..



"It's okay, don't mind me. I'm sorry ulit about sa nangyari kanina. By the way, I'm Patrick Neil Sanchez, Pat for short." I gave my hand for a shake and thank goodness because she took it.

Wow! Her hands were soft and smooth and I wouldn't mind if I hold her hand forever.



"I'm Clarish, Clarish Jane Sarmiento."



And her voice, it was so sweet and it's music to my ears.

"Clarish? What a nice name but I prefer to call you Jane." It suits her more. Mas maganda siya sa malapitan at mas gumaganda pa habang tinititigan.

This feeling..






I've never felt it before,




I think..

I've already fallen in love with her.

"Ehem!" Then her friend caught our attention. She smirked when we looked at her.





"I'm Ariane Levi Romualdez, just call me Ariane." Then I took her hand for a shake.
