For you,
With the swollen eyes, smeared eyeliner, shaking palms and chattering teeth. You're not meant to be fixed because you're not broken. You have years to go until you're going to need new make-up and clothes. You're going to be okay and whether you believe me or not is not my choice or digression. You should know that even when you feel like there is no sunshine in your darkness that sometimes you're suppose to find your own.
For you,
With a head full of mistakes that won't matter in ten years, worrying about things that won't affect your life until later, with the knife sitting at your bedside. You're going to be okay, too. In time, give it time. Years may come in seconds and you're going to beg for more time, but I promise to you that the problems you're facing now are only temporary. Remember that: everything is temporary. That's the happiest yet saddest truth on this planet. You're going to have to find it in yourself to keep going, even if you life day by day. You're going to look up one day with soaked eyes and wet pillows and you're going to be proud you're able to wake up with those worries and only those worries. You're breathing and your heart is beating and that should be enough to motivate you. But if it's not, just remember that even when you feel so low that everything is weighing you down, remember that it takes a weak person to become strong at their weakest. You'll grow, prosper and thrive. And you will excel. I promise this to you.
For you,
Who was late to work and your boss is already yelling at you, who was late for your period and you can barely afford to feed yourself, who was hoping that a stranger you met had the courage to speak up before you and now you're left with unsaid words and unheard thoughts, who can't afford to pay their bill this month, who is struggling between swallowing pills or swallowing pride, who is facing a crisis that's so draining you can't even stand in the shower; you're going to be okay and I'm promising this to you because you're meant to get back up once you've fallen, you're meant to see the brighter side to things in your darkness, you're meant to keep going even when there's a dead end. And even if all your hope seems lost you're meant to find it again.
I don't know if you need someone or if you just need me. But to anyone facing this or other problems: I love you and I hope that's enough.
To whoever reads this, thank you.
To whoever needs this, don't thank me.
To whoever, you're worth it, keep going, get back up.
