-Levi's POV-

It has been twelve years since Eren proposed to me. I never expected that to happen, someone proposing to me. I never thought I would ever get that close to someone. Eren has been my everything, he gave me my life back and although I probably don't say it that often. I do love him, very much.

Our wedding was more enjoyable than I thought it would be. It was small like we both wanted, we only invited our close friends. Like predicted, the crazy brunette was more excited than even Eren, who was the most restless groom to be ever. It was adorable at first but eventually got on my nerves. But when the time came and we were married to each other it was without a doubt one of the happiest in my life.

We have since adopted two children, Thomas and Mina. Thomas is now seven and Mina is four. I stay at home, I have published two books that have done fairly well. The first was set in the past about creatures known as Titans, which made Hanji very happy. Eren eventually decided to become an architect and makes a good amount of money building things like walls and bridges and such. I never imagined myself as a stay at home dad but it allows me to do what I want with minimal interactions with other humans. Except Eren and the kids who I love and tolerate the company of.

Thomas is a very loyal boy and has a more silent demeanor. He has a heavier build as well I'm thinking of having him try out football. Mina on the other hand is a very energetic child and she drives me up the wall. She is a sweet kid and has a good head on her shoulder and she is probably just as smart as her brother. I love both to pieces but some days I wonder how I handle them.

"Daddy daddy! Big brothers home!" Mina squeals as she runs into the kitchen, her brother following.

"Hey kid, how was school?" I ask Thomas.

"Fine," he says.

He normally doesn't say much but I can tell somethings is wrong. After I make them both a snack I sit down at the table with them. Mina has already managed to get food all over her face, seriously this girl is four and no matter how hard I try, manners just aren't sticking. I look over at Thomas who is eating slowly.

"What's the matter kid?" I ask him.
He pauses and hesitantly looks up at me.

"Some kids at school were saying it's weird that I have two dads," Thomas says sheepishly.

"You don't have two dad's, dad goes to work and draws stuff and daddy writes and cleans stuff," Mina says happily.

I smile at her and Thomas laughs a little. "Well I think that's your answer, all that matters is what you think, does it bother you?"

"No," he says confidently.

"Do you think we love each other any less because we are both boys?"

"No!" They both say in unison.

I can't help but smile. "Well then, if anyone tells you that it's wrong, tell them what you think, then tell me so I can beat them up."

Thomas grins broadly and nods.

"How do you know you love dad, daddy?" Mina asks curiously.

I sigh and figure, why not? "Well when I first met your dad I saved him from some bullies. After that, he was an annoying brat and wouldn't leave me alone."

I then told them the entire story, most of it at least. I think it was the longest Mina has ever payed attention to something.

"And then we got Thomas and then a crazy little girl," I conclude.

"I'm not crazy daddy, aunt Hanji is crazy," Mina protests.

"You're both crazy, did I answer you're question?" I ask ruffling her hair.

"Yup," she says grinning.

"Good, now go clean up and Thomas remember to do your homework."

I start making dinner and a couple hours later I hear the door open and Mina runs to it.

"Dad's home!" She runs over to him and he picks her up as she wraps her arms tightly around his neck.

"How's my favorite girl doing?" He asks.

"Awesome! Daddy proved to us that he loves you!" She squeals.

"Oh really?" He says looking at me.

I roll my eyes and say, "Mina, go find your brother and you two hurry and set the table."

Eren sets her down and she runs off.

"What was that all about?" He asks me.

"I'll tell you later," I say and then I pull him into a quick kiss. "Welcome home."

Never mind what I said earlier, I don't ever need to wonder nor do I want to. I am happy and this family has given me a reason to smile.
