I shot up from my slumber, and glanced around the room. Not a light, not a shine, not a sound. I huffed feeling relived for I was alone. Last night it was my dog Jumping up without reason, and tonight it was me waking from a long tone deaf nightmare. The darkness did not overwhelm me tonight, but much rather welcomed me with a calming sensation. A breeze of cool air brushed across my face, and sent small chills down my spine. This wasn't a normal feeling for me, and the welcoming darkness became cold and stone to me. I reached to my left slowly, hoping to find my phone rather than something deranged. I felt cold glass hit my fingers, and my hand soon grasped it. I felt around the sides for the button I oh so longed for. I pressed in the chilling object and light filled my room, and forcing itself into my retinas. The uncomfortable feeling was delightful in many ways. I knew my room was lite, and anything that could kill me couldn't hide any longer. I blinked multiple times trying to focus on the room around me, and adjust to the blinding light.

I flung my feet and legs off of the mattress, and onto the warm wooden floor. I felt the hot air of the beloved heater smack against my bare legs, but I didn't mind for it was warmth.

That was as far as I got before I passed out at around 2am. I wanted to write so much, but didn't have an idea. So i narrated what went on after I woke up last night. Yup. Im insane!!!
