We would like to say a special thank you to @KatieCross4 for being our first interviewed writer!

1. What does your writing process look like?

Oh, I'm a disaster. When I write for Wattpad (aside from my YA fantasy series), I sit down and write whatever comes into my brain. I rarely plan anything out.

2. Do you have any strange writing habits?

Not really! I don't really believe in the muse. I do have a newborn, so I do most of my work while he's nursing. I guess that's kind of weird!

3. Have you always loved writing, or is it something you grew to love?

I've always loved it. I wrote my first story in first grade in my journal. I never thought of it as a career until my mid twenties, however.

4. What book do you wish you could have written?

The one in my head. Seriously. I have a couple of big projects on the horizon and I just want them to be written already :D

5. What is your favorite book?

Favorite? You're kidding, right?! I don't think I can narrow it down. Anything Charles Dickens, and I loved Les Mis and Vanity Fair also. Memoirs of a Geisha has PHENOMENAL writing.

6. If you could be one character, out of any book, who would it be and why?

Jo from Little Women, definitely. Or Laura Ingalls Wilder.

7. What do you consider to be your best accomplishment?

Surviving pregnancy.

8. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

On top of a mountain with my dogs, my husband, and two kids.

9. What writing advice do you have for other aspiring authors?

Give yourself permission to write ugly. Writing shouldn't be, and never is, perfect the first draft. Just keep writing and fix it later. Also, write a lot. I mean ALOT.
