Chapter - 24

Recap: cabir n mukti came to manik’s house to give him a good news & entered manan’s room without knocking….. and found manan sleeping cutely… mukti n cabir tease manan…

Cabir & mukti got out of the room & waited in the living area. As nandini came out from the bathroom, manik got in to get a bath. Nandini picked out his cloths from the cupboard & kept them on the bed. She took out a chudidar suit for herself & changed. After sometime manik returned back to the room & found nandini struggling to close the zip of her kurta. He went closer & helped her out. As manik did so he encircled his hands round her belly & kissed her cheek.
Nandini: manik…. Ur frndzz r waiting downstairs, we can continue our romance afterwards also right…
Manik: I don’t understand why do u keep on trying to find ways to keep me away.
And as he said this, he took his cloths & got ready. Nandini too got busy in arranging the bed. As she completed she turned towards manik n found him combing his hair with an angry look on his face. She went closer & rubbed his hair, he gave her a stern look & combed it again. Nandini repeated the same again & got the same result.
Nandini: ohh so the monster seems to be back… ohk so I’ll also go, coz I don’t like this monster at all, so why to stay with him.
She turned & was about to leave, just then manik held her hand & pulled her towards himself.
Manik: wait….. now I’ll tell u what a monster does..
Nandini: ohh really…. Tell me then!!
Manik clutched her tighter & kissed her shoulder. Nandini closed her eyes & slowly took his name full of love. Manik turned towards her & cupped her face to kiss her, but before he could do so nandini again pushed him & got back.
Nandini: my monster thinks that I’ll let him do whatever he wants, so easily….. But before that catch me if u can….
Manik: nandini…!!!!!
Nandini ran outside the room shouting “catch me if u can!!”. Manik ran behind her calling out her name. Cabir & mukti heard them n looked up towards them & found nandini was running & manik was behind her.
Mukti: ye dono kabhi nhi sudhrenge.
Cabir: I m sure, nandini again disturbed his romance & that’s why all this is happening…
Both mukti & cabir along with all the servants smiled looking at them. Nandini was coming down but as she reached the stairs, she was looking back towards manik & suddenly her leg slipped…… she lost her balance & was about to fall ahead but just then manik held her hand. Manik pulled her towards himself & encircled her within his arms. Mukti & Cabir ran towards them. Manik kept on hugging her for a long time & then suddenly broke the hug n shouted,
Manik: have u lost ur mind… can’t u see, what if something would hv….
Nandini: calm down manik…. I knew u will never let me fall.
Manik immediately hugged her again.
Mukti: manik is right nandini….. u should take care, u could hv got seriously injured.
Cabir: r u fine???
Nandini: ya I m fine….. don’t worry guys nothing happened….
Cabir: chalo lets go down then…
They all had breakfast together & then cabir said,
Cabir: now we both will take a leave.
Nandini : areey but manik u were also going na….
Manik: yes, but now how can I leave u like this…
Nandini: like What?? Manik nothing happened I m totally fine, u saved me from falling…
Manik: but-
Nandini: I don’t wanna knw anything, u just go & don’t return before finishing ur work.
Manik: ohk madam…. As u say…
Soon manik, cabir& mukti left. After sometime nandini said to the servant.
Nandini: kaka, I m going out 4 some work, I’ll be back soon..
Servant: ohk madam…
Nandini got out of the house & the driver asked her if he should take her somewhere, but she refused him & took a cab to the city hospital. She reached the hospital & straightly went to meet dr. Agarwal.
Dr. Agarwal: hello Dr. Moorthy…… Ohh sorry, Dr. Malhotra.
Nandini: no doctor….. just nandini for u, bcoz of u only I got my life back. I just don’t know how to thank u…
Dr. Agarwal: no no don’t thank me…… the credit goes to manik’s stubborness to get u back.
Nandini: yes I guess u r right…
Dr. Agarwal: so how come here today..
Nandini: actually doctor, I m here to apply for a job, to join this hospital as ur asistant.
Dr. Agarwal: off course u can join, but not as a assistant… but as a senior doctor, hving such a talented doctor like u will be a honour for this hospital as well as us.
Nandini: ohh thank u very much doctor….. so when can I join from??
Dr. Agarwal: whenever u wish to…
Nandini: then what about tommorow only..
Dr. Agarwal: u r most welcomed…. I’ll make the arrangements…
Nandini thanked him & returned back home. She was free so she decided to make dinner for manik & all the others.
She finished preparing the food & then called navya & asked her to join along with the two kids. Soon after that manik called her.
Nandini: hello…
Manik: I m missing u…
Nandini: so complete ur work & return back to me….
Manik: ya I m almost done… will be back in about half n hour.
Nandini: ohh gr8, get the entire fab5 with u…
Manik: why???
Nandini: just come na manik…
Manik: ohk!!
Soon navya reached there & both of them sat in the living room while the kids went out to play..
Navya: vese aaj kuch special h kya jo sab ko bulaya h??
Nandini: no no I just wished to hv dinner together.
Just then fab5 entered,
Aliya: heyo nandini… whats up??
Nandini: hi aliya, hello every1…
Dhruv: nandini aese achanak…. Anything important??
Nandini: no… just wished to hv dinner together..
Cabir: ohh dinner… toh what r we waiting for, I m very hungry…
Nandini: ohk I’ll get everything on the table, ( to manik) manik u go n change till then…
5 minutes later, all got seated on the table, but nandini didn’t start.
Mukti: nandini now what r u waiting 4…. And why r u looking towards the gate is any1 else also coming..
Nandini: just a minute plz…
Just then abhi entered & said,
Abhi: hello everybody…. I knew no matter even my wife forgets me, my sister will always wait for me…
Mukti: ya ya… how can nandini start without her brother…
Abhi hugged nandini & mukti and them all of them had dinner.
Cabir: nandini I m still not able to digest that u called us just like that…. I mean kuch toh hai…
Nandini: seriously cabir nothing…
Cabir: u sure…
Nandini: yes!! Now concentrate on ur plate & give some rest to ur brain…
Just then rama, the cook came & served them with some more food.
Manik: rama…. Kabhi kabhi mujhe bhi itna tasty khana khila diya karo yr… its very tasty…
Rama: sir…. Aaj ka khana mene-
Nandini: specially banaya h…. manik don’t worry now he make it for u often…
Manik: haan… toh let him say na…
Rama: sir…. I hvn’t made any of it. Madam forcefully gave me a leave & prepared all this….
All (except manik): what??
Rama: yes sir… madam made all this…
Manik: I know… I just wanted to hear that… thank u… u can go…
Nandini: manik how do u knw that I hv made this…
Manik: bcoz I just know that.!!!
Mukti: nandini why did u do this??? It wasn’t needed.
Nandini: mukti… I was free at home, so I thought to make it, its just a dinner guys, its no big deal.
Cabir: u made it bcoz manik likes ur food right???
Nandini: y cabir, only manik likes, u didn’t like it…. Is it that bad..
Cabir: its lovely…. But all this wasn’t needed at all.
Nandini: u all can do so much 4 me & I can’t evenprepare food 4 u in my free time.
Dhruv: hmn.. so I guess we shouldn’t give u so much free time.
Nandini: ohh ya, that reminds me….. I forgot to tell u all but today I went to meet Dr. Agarwal & I m joining the city hospital as a senior cardiologist.
Dhruv: wow, its such a gr8 news…
Navya: congo nandu….
Cabir: this actually calls 4 a celebration..
Aliya: ya, so we all r here na, lets celebrate..
Manik stayed quite & just held nandini’s hand from beneath the table. He simply smiled towards nandini.
Cabir: manik, will u just keep on smiling towards her or say something also..
Abhi: cabir, they don’t need their mouths to talk, their eyes do that very nicely.... right nandu..
Nandini blushed at it & finally manik asked,
Manik: so when r u joining from??
Nandini: tommorow…
All (except manik) : WHAT??
Nandini looked towards them in a confused expression & then turned towards manik, who too was confused about their reaction.
Manik: Why guys??? Whats the problem in tommorow.
Aliya: What do u mean, Whats the problem….. it has just been 2 days of ur marriage n she wants to join work.
Manik: yes aliya, we talked about it earlier only, before marriage… I knw how much she loves her work & I don’t wish to stop her, in fact why should I stop her???
Navya: par tum dono ka honeymoon…
Nandini & manik (in unison): HONEYMOON????
Manik: when did this happen??
Cabir: we didn’t tell u but we were planning 4 it..
Manik: guys already we all enjoyed so much in london….& then during the marriage, whats the need of it.
Abhi: but u two should get some time alone also na…
Manik: that we can get here as well……. Until cabir & mukti don’t disturb us in the morning ( smiling at them)
Nandini: Manik…. Shut up!!! Sorry guys he was just kidding….. But yes we don’t need any honeymoon, we r happy here only.
Aliya: but nandini-
Manik: ohk fine… we all knw that 2 months later we r having a big concert in paris… so this time also, like always all of us will go including navya, abhi, kavya , sameer & nandini. So that time we both will njoy our honeymoon.
Navya: but it should be only u two na
Manik: so fine… we both will leave 1 week before u all come… is that fine??
Aliya: ya… that’s a gud idea…
After that all of them njoyed a lot, played games, sand songs & danced madly. It was around 11 pm when all decided to leave. As they all stepped out, manik turned towards nandini & said,
Manik: so am I now allowed to continue or some1 else is also waiting…
Nandini: what???
Manik: u only said na, “manik ur frndz r waiting, we can continue our romance latr also…..” remember.
Nandini: (blushing) ohh that… I just said that to stop u that time…
Manik: ohh really….. wait!
And with this before she could say anything manik picked her up in his arms…
Nandini: manik leave me, what r u doing??
Manik: nothing just taking u up…
Nandini: manik see… even the servants r smiling…
Manik: nandini!! I knw they r my servants, but I can’t stop them from smiling right???
Nandini: MAANNNIK
Manik: YEEESSSS…
Nandini: (smiling) u will never change…..
Nandini hid her face in his chest as he took her up… manik entered the room & locked it from inside. He took nandini to be bed.
Nandini: manik I hv to go to work early & so I wanna sleep.
Manik: when did I say no to sleep …. We usually come on the bed to sleep only na… why what were u thinking???
Nandini blushed at this & ran inside the washroom to change. She returned 5 mins latr & saw manik lying on the bed bare chest. She went to pray to ayiappa. Manik notice it & joined her. They both prayed to ayyiappa together & then lied down on the bed. Nandini wished manik a good night & closed her eyes. A few minutes latr, manik pulled her more closer & left a loud breadth out. Soon he got onto her.
Nandini: manik… what r u doing???
Manik: what do u think???
Manik kissed her hands & then moved up kissing her neck. He slipped his hands under her top & soon removed it. Nandini rolled onto his chest & soon his lips met her’s. it was a beautiful passionate kiss until manik got harder & started biting her tongue inside his mouth. Nandini moarned out loud. Soon manik broke the kiss & suddenly dug his teeth deep into her neck, giving her a hard love bite. Nandini moarned again but her entire body language told him that she was actually enjoying it. After continuing for about an hour, they both curdled into each other & slept.
