I woke up in aching pain. W-what happened to me? Memories from that day streams through my brain. H-he beat me. I still don't know why but it scared me. I moved around, groaning in pain, I sounded like a little puppy. I looked around me and saw that I was in Vladimir's room. Could this get any worse?
After thinking so my stomach growled and my throat began to hurt. Fucking hell im hungry, I can't remember the last time I fed. Right on cue the door opens and Vladimir walks in. I instantly back up, not wanting him anywhere near me. Not after what he did to me.
He suddenly stopped and frowned.
"Ciro." He looked hurt. "I didn't mean to blow up on you. Is high ranking vampires have low tempers and hate to be challenged. Please."
I looked down, he really seemed to be pleading for my forgiveness, but I don't know if I have it in me to do so.
While I'm deep in thought he takes the chances and instantly holds me, kissing my forehead and before I could disagree with what he was doing he shooshed me and set me in his lap facing him, then revealed his neck to me.

"Drink my love. As an apology."
As soon as my face was right at his neck i couldn't fight the hunger I felt and instantly bit into his neck and began drinking. Every time I drink from him I feel a bond forming.
      After I'm full I yawn and close my eyes, I guess I'm still sleepy.  Vlad lays me down and tucks my into bed before kissing my forehead and leaving. How could I be scared of him if he treats me like this?

I leave the room quietly to let my love sleep peacefully.    I then walk into my studies to see someone sitting in my chair.
    "Hello father."
He nods in response, "Vladimir you are the head of this family which I have happily passed down to you, and yet you do not have a child to replace you one day."
Great the child bullshit again. He wants me to impregnate a woman to carry a child who will one day take my place so that I may retire. I don't see the need in this though.
"Father I have an eternity to live and it has only been 100 years since I have taken your place at the top."
"Son other high families have advantages over us and have sons and daughters that will take they're place when the time comes. You cannot rule this family and its riches forever and we both know that."
     "I already have a mate. I have no interest in women."
   "I am aware of this. Must I remind you that this family owns the most land and soon others will gain the courage to attack us to gain our researches."

   "So if your aware that I will not be taking a wife, then what do you have in mind exactly?"
  "Simple, use a serenade."
