Ichihime - Five Lifetimes, One Love

~Ichigo Kurosaki's POV~

"Ichigo! Its time to wake up!" I open my eyes to see my sister, Yuzu, with a cheerful smile on her face. "Oh, good, your up! Breakfast is ready, so come down stairs when your dressed!" I close my eyes. I hear the door close, so I stand up, out of bed. "Gooood morning, Ichigo!!!!" I hear as my dad flies through my window. I let out a sigh."Your getting better, Ichigo. You managed to dodge my attack! "Get out of my room." This is annoying, I need to get ready to go to school. We finally saved Rukia though. "Somebody's grumpy this morning" my dad whine's as he heads for the door. Once he's out of the room I get ready for school and go down stairs to eat breakfast. "Good morning, Ichigo!" Yuzu says, wearing a pink apron. "Morning.." I say as I sit down to eat my breakfast. "Yo Ichigo" Karin says from across the table. "Hey, Karin". I scarf down my breakfast and go to school.

~Orihime Inoue's POV~

"Hey look, Orihime. Ichigo's here" Tatsuki winks, while pointing at Ichigo walking into the classroom. I blush, but go to say hello to Ichigo. "Good morning, Ichigo!" He turns to look at me. "Oh, hey Orihime" He looks worn out. "Whats wrong?" I ask, worried. "Hmm? Oh, Nothing. Its just that alots happened recently.. Dont worry about it" There is a long awkward silence. "If you say so" The bell rings and we take our seats.

~After Class~

"Hey, Ichigo..?" Ichigo paused. Finally he says "What is it, Orihime?" I blush as I replied  "Could we.. maybe walk home together?" He looks surprised but doesn't hesitate to accept. 

~Ichigo Kurosaki's POV~

Orihime asked for us to walk home together, but... This is really awkward. I have to start a conversation somehow.. "Ichigo...." Orihime looks worried. "Huh? What is it, Orihime?" I wonder what she's thinking right now. "I'm sorry I wasn't any help in the Soul Society.." Oh, she's still worried about that. I stop walking right then "That's not true, we never could have saved Rukia if you weren't there" Im auctually really glad she helped us. "But, I keep feeling like I was only getting in the way"

(Author's Note: Please dont comment saying "She was getting in they way!!")

~Orihime's POV~

"Its okay, Orihime. You have nothing to apologize for. Im glad you where there with me" What? "D-Do you mean it?" Did he really say that? "Of course I mean it. Please dont be sad like this"

"O-Okay, Ichigo" He's truly worried about me... Im so happy! We continued walking home after that. It was quiet, but I was happy. We were together, and I know he really cares about me. Thats all I could ask for.
