Bit of Background.
"Ever since I was young I was told I had talent. At 5 years old I was competing in young competitions at the local pool, doing sprint races and relays. I won trophies, medals and money a couple of times. At 10 I was competing around the country, and at 14 competing internationally. I never thought I'd ever get this far though. Meeting and competing with Tom Daley changed everything, and he's the best thing that ever happened to me."
Charlie Willow was not a popular child growing up. With her family in a council house and her dad fighting in Iraq, she was never appreciated in school. However, on her 17th birthday, she was told she had the chance to compete in the 2012 London Olympic games. That's where she met him and everything changed.
