Dripping sweat

Nick POV
As soon as I exit out of the sliding doors at the airport, an immediate heat runs towards me like a bull with horns and envelopes me. "God", I think to myself "it's like a hundred degrees". I look on my phone to check the weather and sure enough, it's a 109 degrees. Holy shit. I get into the limousine.
The driver already knows where to take me so I sit back and enjoy watching the palm trees zoom by the sky. I close my eyes as a crack of sunlight falls onto my left cheek and eye. I take a deep breath, my chest expanding until I can hear it almost crack. I let it go, my body melting into the seat as if I was hot lava pouring out. It feels like it was only a few seconds, but as soon as I flutter my eyes open, we're in front of the hotel. The driver opens my door, gets my luggage and I walk inside the lobby.

Isabella POV
"Bye mom, I'm going to school". My mom says bye, have a great day, blah blah blah, the usual. I grab a bruised apple and walk out the door. I climb into my Fiat, take a bite out of the apple and drive away from my blue house towards school. I look at the dashboard and it reads 109 degrees. Crap, I think to myself, I'm gonna be dripping sweat all day long. I open the mirror to look at my horrifying face only to see its surrounded by tiny water droplets. Miami never lets you down, you know. It knows when people want hot, and when it does... It. Gets. Hot. I close it and forget about myself, as I pull up to the school. "Eagles High", can they have given our school a more American name? I mean, we're in the middle of Miami: palm trees, beaches, sun tans and bikini bottoms, chongas walking down the populated streets. If Miami had legs, it would detach itself from the state of Florida and swim across the Atlantic Ocean to meet its long lost friend, Cuba.
I worry about the Ap Chem test I have now.
