Untitled Part 1

Chapter One,

Diagon Alley

Tanner Arthur

It was a clear August day. Tanner Arthur stood in the back alley of the leaky cauldron with his new friends. He held his older brother's wand up to the brick third from the left and tapped it. "How do you know how to get in already?" Inquired Jack. I've been here a bunch of other times, I think I would figure out how to get in, wouldn't I?" He replied. By the time Jack looked back up the wall had unfolded into the archway revealing Diagon Alley. " I don't suppose you know how to do that too?" Jack asked Jacob. " I told you mate, my family are muggles, I've never been here either." " Come on you too," Tanner called as he walked down the alley. " I think we should get our wands first." Jack and Jacob jogged to catch up with him. They all entered Ollivander's together. There appeared to be no one there. Then with a thud, the man known as Ollivander came stumbling out. "Ah more first years." he said "Who first then?" Tanner slowly raised hand. "Ah, another Arthur." he said. "Try this" he said as he handed Tanner a purple box. He opened the box and pulled out a wand. "10 inch, Almond wood, Unicorn hair core," Ollivander informed them all. Tanner waved the wand and the nearest chair exploded. They all stared in shock as Ollivander removed the wand from Tanner's hand while shaking his head violently.Ollivander disappeared then came back about 2 minutes later. He handed Tanner a green box this time. "How about this?" he said as Tanner removed the wand from the box. He flicked it more carefully this time the cat that was perched on the small table in the corner lost all of its fur. Ollivander immediately ceased the wand and with a flick of his own the cat suddenly had all of its hair back. He then came back with a blue box. "This should work." he said handing Tanner the wand. As soon as the wand touched Tanner's hand there was a weird wind that swept over Tanner. His eyes grew wide. "Perfect." said Ollivander. He grabbed a piece of paper and mumbled what he was writing to himself. " 14 ⅓ inches, Phoenix feather core,Hazel wand." "Excuse me, Mr. Ollivander?" Tanner had stepped up to the desk. "Yes my dear boy?" he asked as he looked up. I was just wondering if the Phoenix feather in this wand was donated by my father, you see he has a Phoenix and he donated one a few weeks ago" " Why yes I believe it is." he said. " Cool," Tanner smirked. Jacob was next. They went through two wands, a shelf collapsing, and a clock ticking backwards. He wound up with a inch wand with a wood and a core. Jack went next. As soon as the first wand touched his skin it shot a stunning curse at Jacob. He collapsed. Ollivander was trying to find another wand when Tabby walked in. "Hey Tabby." Tanner said. "How do you know her?" asked Jack. "I know lots of people." said Tanner matter-o-factly. Jack held out his hand and Tabby shook it. " Why is that kid knocked out?" she asked gesturing to Jacob. " Not important right now." Tanner said. Jack was waving his hand over a stack of wands when his hand suddenly froze. Mr.Ollivander noticed and picked up the box and brought it over to the table and opened the box. The wand was Oak, 10 inches,and had a Runespoor Fang core.

" Strange" said Ollivander

" Why is that" asked Jack curiously

" This wand" he said then opened the box

" Was made by Salazar Slytherin"

Inside was a wand made of black wood with green and silver carvings

" My whole family have been Slytherins" said Jack bitterly.

Slytherin was one of the houses of Hogwarts. The house of many evil people. Draco and Lucius malfoy for example were Slytherins. You Know Who whose name strikes fear was a Slytherin.

" Give it a wave" said Ollivander

Jack waved it and a ball of light shot out of the wand

"Definitely it" said Ollivander
