That Butt Naked Godly Being With A Lovely Six Pack.
Chapter Five
Whimpering slightly, I turned my head towards the direction of the new growl.
Much to my dismay, standing directly behind me, was deep gray colored wolf, its pitch black eyes set directly towards me.
Shaking slightly, I moved my foot sideways, hoping I could somehow outrun them.
Once my one foot was flat on the ground, I slowly lifted my hands up into the air, and took a deep breath, slowly moving my other foot in the direction away from both wolves. This action of mine only brought a rumbling growl from both wolves.
A soft cry left my lips, as I let the first tear slide down my cheek.
Standing completely still, I watched as both wolves slowly approached me, and began circling around me, forcing me to hold back my sobs that were brought by my overwhelming fear.
After nearly a minute of circling, the black wolf began to growl again at me.
Seeing the situation now as either run and gamble my survival, or stick around and pretty much wait to die, I took the first option, and broke out running as fast as I could.
When I was barely fifteen feet from where I previously stood, I felt a pair of canine teeth sink into the back of my thigh, a little ways up from the back of my knee cap. I ear splitting scream instantly passed through my lips as I cried out in pain, while my body tumbled down to the floor.
After the longest moment of pain, I felt the wolves teeth rip forcefully from my leg, and instantly braced myself for an impact of the teeth in a different location.
With my eyes shut tightly, when I didn't feel the wolves teeth clamp again, I was greatly confused.
Counting to three, I slowly opened my eyes, and glanced around, only to see a familiar brown wolf, standing above the black wolf, a fierce growl coming from deep within it's body.
Smiling lightly at how my wolf protected me, I slowly forced myself to drag my gaze away from my wolf and the black wolf.
A few feet away from where they were, my eyes landed on the gray wolf in a position that screamed submission, he obviously knew how tough my wolf was, and this made me smile even more.
Sitting there confused for a moment, my gaze was drawn back to my wolf and the black one.
My wolf still had dominance over the black one, but as I stared at them, my wolf glanced over his shoulder, and gave me a stare that was almost begged me to leave. Nodding slowly to my wolf, I slowly stood to my feet, and took off running, more like limping, in the direction of my house.
Stopping just as I reached the edge of the woods, I leaned up against a tree, and slid down to the ground.
Tears were flowing down my cheeks as sat there, my head against the tree trunk, as I tried to catch my breath, my hand grasping onto the back of my thigh.
After a few moments of just sitting, I slowly pulled my hands away from my wound only to see them covered in sticky, red blood. Taking a jagged deep breath, I shut my eyes tightly together, and let more tears slip down my cheeks.
The woods around me were silent as I cried, and the only sound that touched my ears was the sound of my own sobs, so when a branch broke to my left, I quickly pinpointed the exact location of the sound. Standing quickly to my feet, I braced myself against a tree, and stared of into the overgrowth.
Not longer than a minute later, a brown wolf poked it's face through a bush, and stared at me, its eyes filled with concern.
Sighing lightly, I put down my guard, and sank back to the ground, my hands instantly grasping the back of my thigh.
Whining lightly, my wolf took a small step towards me, before he stopped completely, its bright blue eyes searching my face for any sign to stop advancing towards me.
I smiled softly, and nodded, patting the ground beside where I sat.
Taking this motion, my wolf came closer, and stopped when he was right beside me. Lowering down to the ground slowly, he curled up next to my body and whined softly, his face nuzzling against my hands.
"It's alright," I whispered to my wolf.
Whining again, his eyes glanced up to meet my face. Shaking his head lightly, as if he was not alright with me saying the bite was alright, and he nuzzled his face against my hands again.
Moving my hands for him, my wolf drew his tongue along the bite, before he pulled back to look at me, his face forming into a wolfy smile. I smiled at the wolf and sighed.
I knew it was nearing close to an hour and a half, and any moment now, my dad would come out here looking for me. I also knew, that if my dad were to come outside, and see a wolf cuddling to my side, he would freak beyond imaginable. "I've got to go..." I spoke softly to the wolf, who sat giving me a confused look. Staring at my wolf's expression, I couldn't hold back the smile, and my wolf turned its head slightly to the side, "My dad doesn't like wolves... I'm due in a few minutes, and if I'm not back, he'll come looking for me, and if you're here..." I left my voice fade out.
Slowly standing to my feet, my wolf watched me closely until I was balanced on my feet again, and made a funny noise as I turned away from him.
Glancing back at him, I noticed he was staring directly at me.
With a smile, I bit my lip, "Come visit me tonight, okay wolfy?" I whispered, deciding I would call him wolfy from now on, before I turned and made my way back to my house.
As I reached the door, I gave one more glance backwards, only to notice wolfy was still staring at me. Waving him off, he turned his head to the side, before he turned and disappeared into the cover of the trees.
Opening the door quietly, I quickly stumbled to the steps, "I'm home dad...I'm going to go wash up..." I shouted as I climbed up the steps.
As I reached the top step, my dad's voice touched my ears, "Why do you need to wash up?" He wondered.
Closing my eyes tightly, I rubbed my temples, quickly thinking of a cover story, "I, um wasn't paying attention to my feet, and I ended up tripping into a pile of mud," I spoke, only partially lying, simply because I did trip even if it wasn't into a pile of mud.
My dad bought it, and I made my way into the bathroom quickly.
Once I pealed away my dirty clothes, I turned around, and inspected the bite mark in the back of my thigh. It wasn't as deep as I thought it was originally, and for that I was thankful, now instead of worrying if it needed stitches or not, which it clearly didn't, I could only worry about if it would scar or not.
Turning away from the mirror with a sigh, I turned the shower on high, and waited for the water to heat up.
A moment later, as I stood under the running water, I let out a deep breath, and ran my fingers through my hair.
This morning didn't turn out the way I had planned it would, but for some reason, I wasn't upset that I was attacked by that wolf, simply because it proved my theory right, Wolfy would protect me if something bad was going to happen to me, and for this I couldn't hold back the smile that spread across my lips.
When I finished my shower, I made my way back into my bedroom, and slid on a pair of sweat pants, and a spaghetti strapped shirt, before I made my way downstairs to the livingroom.
Greeting my dad with a smile, I curled up next to him on the couch, and bit my tongue to hold back my cry of pain as I shifted to a comfortable position for my thigh. Leaning my head onto my dad's shoulder, I sighed, and settled in for a good race.
After 198 laps of racing, it was finally down to the last two laps, with Joey Logano in the lead, Kyle Busch following closely behind, and Kasey Kahne not much further.
"Come on Joey!" I shouted, as if he could hear me through the television set.
My dad shook his head at my outburst, "Seriously, Kyle Busch is way better, he's going to take the lead before this is over," My dad spoke, his voice determined.
I rolled my eyes, "But Joey Logano needs this race," I stated, pulling my legs up underneath me on the couch, "And plus he's pretty cute for a Nascar driver," I admitted with a shrug.
My dad groaned at this, "I so do not want to hear who you think is cute," My dad spoke, covering his ears with his hands.
A smile spread across my lips as I leaned quickly towards my dad, and began pulling at one of his hands until it gave way from his ear, "Oh, so dad, I think this one guy at school is pretty cute, like really cute, I would defiantly date him..." I spoke, laughter threatening to come through my lips.
"Corey!" My dad shouted, groaning again, "Take it back!" He told me, and I sensed the seriousness in his tone.
Shaking my head I smiled, "Be quiet, the race is about to end!" I demanded, shoving my elbow into my dad's side, quickly changing the topic.
With huff, my dad stopped talking, and we both turned our attention back to the race.
Joey Logano ended up taking the race, and forgetting about my recent injury, I jumped to my feet and started dancing, "Yeah Joey, that's what I'm talking about!" I said jumping up and down, "Who was right daddy?!" I wondered leaning towards my dad, batting my eyelashes, with a smile spread across my lips.
My dad sighed, "Tell me you don't think some boy is cute at school, and then maybe I'll answer that," He responded after a moment.
Rolling my eyes, I leaned back and put my hands on my hips, "Daddd," I sighed, "It's not a crime to think someone is cute, you should be lucky I don't have a crush on anyone!" I told him.
Letting out a deep breath, my dad finally smiled, "Okay, then you weren't really right, you just hoped Joey Logano would win, you never said he would win..." My dad stated with a shrug.
Staring at my dad, my mouth slightly opened, I watched as my dad fought back a smile, "Nuh-uh! I so said he would win!" I shouted, plopping back down onto the couch beside my dad.
My dad shook his head quickly, "You said quote 'But Joey Logano needs this race, and plus he's pretty cute for a Nascar driver' end quote" He spoke his voice changing to a high pitched tone as he quoted me.
Raising an eyebrow at my dad's impression of me, I stared at him, a smile playing at the edges of my lips, before we both burst out laughing, "Okay, whatever, but I actually had faith in Joey!" I stated quickly.
My dad nodded slowly as he calmed his laughing.
A moment later, we sat in a comfortable silence, just sitting there. When the door bell interrupted our silence a moment later, my dad quickly rose from his spot, "Damn..." He mumbled, "I forgot to tell you Corey, Della is coming over, is that okay?" He spoke, his voice sounding panicked, "I can tell her to come back another time," He added a second later.
Shaking my head softly, I looked up at my dad, "It's okay, she can come in," I told him with a smile.
