Does a heart continue to beat after its been broken?
After its been ripped from a chest?
Does it continue to provide life's blood to its host?
It's the hearts only desire to beat, how ever much pain it's put through
So yes it beats, but slowly, painfully.
Almost already to its own death.
So my dear, treat it well for it is all that will never give up on you.
