Jojo a tall handsome young man, had just moved from his small hometown that averaged a population of 30,000 people. Moving to this big state was a huge step for him, along with the older home he had just purchased. At a low price, it was impossible to pass up.The home was a real fixer upper, big and spooky. At first glance it looked liked a tear me down. However Jojo saw potential and decided that this might just be what he needed for his new start.

Shortly after he bought the home, Jojo's mom Jane came to visit. She of course was sad to have her son so far away from home and couldn't understand why he would buy such a "creepy" home. Jane got chills down her spine as soon as she entered the home. As any typical mom, she began to ask questions. Jojo mentioned to Jane that the realtor Lisa told him some things about the previous owners, about how a young girl his age had died in this home. Jane scared and worried yelled "Jojo, why would you want to live in a home after knowing such a terrible thing happened"! " I knew there was something odd about this home, I felt it as soon as I came in"!. She tried convincing Jojo to come back home, he insisted that he had only been joking about the Realtors story. The next morning, having barely convinced his mom he dropped off at the train station. Although he would miss her, he had his new "old" home all to himself.

Jojo was a morning person, up by 7 a.m. He went on a long jog down the lake with his dog Checker. Later on stopping at the local grocery store to pick up some fresh foods and also a stop at the handyman store to pick up a few things feeling motivated to fix the new house he just moved in. All seemed to be headed in the right direction. After spending hours outside in the sun cleaning Jojo went inside for a little snack and soon after took a nap.

He woke up at 5 p.m. and began to explore and wander around the house, he noticed a door in the ceiling with a handle. Grabbing his tall latter from the garage he centered it with the door. Opening the door, dust coming down blinding him he finally got through the clutter of old belongings. In front of him were boxes that seemed to be full of unique things. He'd figured they had belonged to the previous owners and they had been forgotten in the attic. Going through the boxes, he came across an old notebook, "Sarah's Journal" a picture with two beautiful young ladies sliding out, in the back of the pictures two names "Sarah and Samantha". Although identical one seemed to have a deep sadness in her eyes and the other hugging the other one in a protective way. The sad one seemed as if she faked a good smile and was a loving selfless person who cared about others more than she cared about herself. Intrigued by their photo he began to read her journal, it was then that realize the "sad" one was Sarah.

Hours passed and Jojo looked at the time noticing it was already 1 a.m. this girl had gone through so much. He was determined to find out more about Sarah. Soon finding himself falling asleep he decided to go upstairs. It was quiet in the house you could hear the wooden floors creaking, the wind hitting the windows rapidly. Proceeding to walk up the stairs he heard a girl's voice. Shaking it off not minding it, continuing to walk up the stairs. Then hearing a laugh. Jojo knew he was the only person in the house but he still yelled "if someone is there, please come out" waiting for a response. Silence.

Next morning Jojo did his usual morning routine. So many things were going through his head "what happened to Sarah?" "why did they murder her"? Who could do such a thing! Reaching the house out of breath from his jog feeling like he had ran a marathon. He went straight to the kitchen to find the Realtors number. "Come on I know you're here, there you are" proceeding to his cell phone he dialed the number.

"Hello"

"Hi, this is Jojo you sold me a house a couple of days ago and I had a few questions"

"Oh yes, hi how are you?, shoot for it I would love to answer all of them"

With no hesitation Jojo went straight to the point. "what happened to the lady who lived here, why was she murdered?"

"well all I know is that the family had indicated she had taken her own life"

"But why?"

"Hold your horses" she laughed "she was a very unhappy person who felt unloved, she didn't think she was good for anyone or anything in this world. I do recall them saying they never found her body. Jojo I must go I have an emergency, could I call you later?"

In silence and shocked he seemed to block her voice out.

"Jojo!"

"Ooh yes yes,I apologize".

So many questions still unanswered. There had to be more to the story than what she was telling him. Frustrated he proceeded to the attic hoping to find something else. Hours passed he went through every box. Still nothing. Jojo started to get a sense of coldness and chills, Jojo felt a hand on his shoulder. Turning his head slowly, staring down at him with her sad eyes was Sarah.

Jojo stood up, following Sarah to the back yard. "Sarah what happened to you, why are you taking me back here?" turning her head putting her finger to her lips telling him to hush. She had lead Jojo to the lake. Jojo was confused about why she was doing this not even acknowledging that she was present and how he could see her.

Sarah made a sudden stop, staring at the lake pointing. Jojo was now frustrated. What could she be showing him in the lake, what was there? "What, what is it Sarah, please tell me" "What are you pointing to?". Sarah vanished.

Exhausted and confused he went to bed. He fell asleep immediately, Sarah came alive in his dreams. He could not escape her presence. She again pointed him to the lake. This time her hand holding his, leading the way into shallow end of the water. It was here where they found a wooden box with a small key. He knew that key would open the heavy trunk he used as a sit, while reading Sarah's Journal in the attic. She grinned and vanished yet again.

The next morning Jojo rushed to the attic not knowing what to expect from the box. He anxiously opened the box. He found a letter written to Sarah's twin sister, Samantha. He knew he had to deliver this letter so that the family could find closure. He quickly found the address to their new home. He nervously got ready knowing that this is what Sarah wanted all along. Jojo didn't want to mess this up. As he approached the house and reached the door, his hands were sweating he was so nervous. Sarah's twin sister Samantha opened the door he instantly fell in love.

As he fell asleep, that night he dreamed of Sarah one last time. This time it was different, she spoke to him and she seemed happy. The sadness was finally gone from her eyes, Sarah knew now that Samantha understood that there was nothing she could have done differently. As Sarah said goodbye to him, she asked that he take care of Samantha and he promised. It was then that he realized that he had freed Sarah from her pain.
