To say my past relationships never lasted long, I could sense something was different about Vic Fuentes. The way he talked and acted - he seemed so caring and I really liked that about him. After holding our conversation at the cafe, darkness outside grew quick and we both decided to head home.
"Hey, hey, I'm just gonna go lock up the office, it wont take me a minute." Victor quickly reminded himself and paced to lock up his office room and the meeting rooms. I seated myself onto a bright red plastic chair which reflected the colour theme of the airport and watched as a couple (supposing they hadn't seem each other for a while) run up to each other and hug tightly. It brought a smile to my face to see the strong connection of love. I was happy for them, but it would be really nice to experience that feeling truthfully one day for myself.
My eyes gazed up once I heard Vic walking over and so I stood up, smiling back at him as he lead me to the car. With it being the winter season, the crisp night breeze sent shivers traveling down my spine as my teeth chattered away. Winter is my least favourite season. Although, I love snow, I could never afford to keep myself warm in these conditions or pay for the heating either, only just barely paying it off.
This is why I needed this job. Not only was it good paying, I could travel the world and possibly even afford a bigger place to live in. Oh - and pay for heating.
It was still quite a shock for me to be accepted to this month long trial and I really wanted to try my best and make use of the training.

Vic noticed my shivering and started to remove his leather jacket, placing it on my shoulders. I looked to him and saw he wasn't shivering at all. I decided to pull my arms through the sleeves and zip up the jacket. "Thank you.." I mumbled out, enjoying the warm comfort of his jacket. I received a small nod in return as we walked down the pathway of the carpark.

"Aren't you cold..?" I asked, peering over to him. Again, he responded with a head gesture as an answer but this time he shook his head until he spoke, "Nope. See." Vic took my hand and my fingers automatically locked with his, enjoying the warmth of him. Nothing was awkward in this moment of time, and he definitely brought a small smile to my face as he was smiling. I really adored his smile.

Once we reached his car, I hopped in in a matter of seconds and relaxed against the seat. We both buckled up as Vic started up his navy blue Mini, reversing and driving out the airports carpark. I watched as he kindly cranked up the heating for me and I yawned out.

"Tired?" He asked.
"Mhm.."

Vic's P.O.V.

Damn, you're cute.

I'm glad the younger boy wrote his address down on a piece of scrap paper for me because by now, he was dozing away in my car and I didn't want to wake him. Mainly because he looked so cute sleeping, and I could steal small glances without him knowing. Around an hour of driving, I reached the address I was given and parked up. I thought about carrying him to his room but realised I would have had to search him for a key first. I didn't want to make him uncomfortable in anyway as, I guess, we were friends and I had just met him today. I gently shook him, waking him with a soothing, quiet tone. "I think this is your place?" I chuckled out after letting Kellin's eyes adjust. I received a nod and decided to walk him up to his room. Once we reached the door, Kellin opened it and the cold draft coming from his flat was almost as cold as it was outside. "Kellin it's freezing in here. Do you have the heating on?"

"I can't afford it.." Kellin mumbled and he decided to walk straight to his room to wrap a blanket around himself. I frowned at his coldness and could tell how Kellin was struggling to afford to pay the rent here. He didn't have any luxurious items or personal touches to his flat: it was basically just bland and boring. "I know this is a weird gesture but, do you want to come to mine? I don't live far away but I have heating and a spare bed you can sleep on."

Honestly, I was hoping he'd say yes. Which he did. He gave me a friendly hug as Kellin grabbed a few things he wanted to take with him and we set off again. Another forty minutes or so of driving, we reached my place. I lead Kellin into my apartment and flickered on the lights. The second thing I did was turn up the heating to warm up the place. I decided to make us both a hot chocolate and returned to the sofa with the two mugs. I forgot about Kellin's burn injury until he reached out for the mug. I gladly handed it to him and sat beside him, giving us plenty of room.

We held a friendly conversation which woke us both up a little and we got to know more about each other. We both seemed to avoid the topic of parents, though. Kellin told me about his main hobby we oddly both shared - singing.

"Can I hear?" Kellin asked softly, "I won't judge." He added with a smile which obviously I couldn't resist. "Okay sure as you're my special guest." I replied jokingly and playfully, setting down my mug to fetch my acoustic guitar. I returned and sat myself at the edge of the couch, asking Kellin to pick a song.

"Can you play Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls? It's one of my favourites." The younger boy replied and I nodded. I strummed the guitar and started singing for Kellin, the atmosphere becoming calm. I decided to sing half of the song to not become loud and disturb the neighbours. The strumming faded off and Kellin looked amazed.
"You're voice is amazing.." He said.
A smile crossed my lips and I thanked him. "I should hear you sometime. But not now, we gotta sleep. Training tomorrow." I chugged down the last of my hot chocolate and so did Kellin.
"I know this is an odd question and I totally understand if you don't want to but, can I sleep next to you? N-Nothing meaningful, I just hate sleeping alone.. and the dark.." Kellin admitted shyly.

Could he possibly get any cuter?

"Sure." I replied, strangely not minding the fact that we'd be sharing the same bed. "You must also really like my jacket your wearing. You haven't took it off once." I smiled, not minding him wearing it at all as it kept him warm and the oversized jacket was adorable on him.

"It's warm and comfy.." He giggled softly and we both headed to my room.
