Kai looked through the fuchsia tinted window, and what he saw was an ordinary scene. Millie Rupo was cursing a frog, Tampa Marita was shooting a faux deer with his death stare and a bow and arrow, and Lisel La Salle was worrying over some facial disease that would destroy her magnificent visage. Kai was watching Millie's lips form the final words of the curse and in a flash of golden light, the frog became a human.
