Summers tale end

Summer was just one mouth away to being over and Alex was going into her second year of high school.  Grade 9.  She wasn't totally excited for the idea of learning and education.  She only "did" school to make her parents proud.  She does has very close friends though.  Ruby a red head with blue eyes and Jack a ripped tall boy brown hair and green dreamy eyes...

Anyway off that now.  Alex was just at the lake enjoying the Last bit of sun with Ruby. 

"Are you excited for school Al?"  That's what her close friends called Alex.  "No..." Alex replied.  "Aw why?" Ruby asked.  "Because my parents expect so much of me and I'm not sure if I can do it Rue" " It's ok I have your back if you need anything and we can also talk to jack." Alex nodded and hugged Ruby.  They both then jumped in the lake and started swimming around and throwing mud pies at each other.

Jacks POV.

I had just finished my work out when I got a call from my old man.  * hey son their has been some problems with your mother lately she ain't feeling to good you might want to come home earlie boy*  I then replied  and told him, " Im on my way"  we hung up the phones and I drove my 1998 Honda pick up to my dad's place.  I asked him what had happen and he explained to me the situation.  " son..." he looked at me in the eyes.  With his deep dark sad... sad eyes.  "Your mom has cancer."  I stopped breathing and starting to think I had know idea.  I slowly dropped on the floor crying.  "You can go see her I an taking her back to the hospital tomorrow moring for a check up you can come if you'd like." I looked at him and nodded.  Then I walked into my mothers room sat on her bed and held her hand.  And she told me.  "Don't worry, cause every little thing is gonna be all right" she smiled.  That was what she used to sing to me when I was younger.  I went to bed that night sitting by the edge of my bed praying, praying for my mother to heal and be healthy once again.
