Hiccup and Astrid sat in Gothi's hut waiting for her to take Astrid into the other room and get rid of Erets evil spawn from within her womb

"I feel horrible doing this to another human being, especially that it is the one that I'm carrying, but at the same time I don't because I'm doing the baby a favour by ending its life before it begins being a child of Erets"

(Does that make sense tell me if it does or not)

Hiccup wraps his arm around her waist and kisses her cheek "you are doing the right thing Astrid, nothing bad will come from this I promise" he said

Astrid smiled and rested her head on Hiccups shoulder but she couldn't stay there as Gothi appeared from behind a curtain leading to the room that would end Astrid's misery and the babies

"Is it time Gothi?" Astrid asked

The elderly woman nodded and gestured for her to come through to the room behind her, Astrid sighed and stood up "I love you babe" he said as she went behind the curtain and Ruffnut came back out and say down beside Hiccup

"I'm sorry I made you go through with this" he said to her looking at the floor

"It's okay" she replied to him with a smile "I only wanted to sleep with him and didn't want to get pregnant" she said "but hey it's better to be safe and alone than a sorry single mother"

"And plus he didn't even cum inside me, the guys doesn't know how kids are made" she said

Hiccup laughed and smiled softly but soon his smile faded and he sighed starring at the ground ashamed with himself for what he did to Astrid and even now he still hasn't forgiven himself

"It wasn't your fault Hiccup, you were angry and Eret had her under his influence" she said placing a hand on his shoulder

Hiccup knew she was right but it was eating him up inside and it made him feel like a failure as a chief and as a boyfriend

What if she had slept with Toothless, would it be the same

Probably but the moral is that he has something eating at his soul and it makes him sick with himself. The only thing he could feel at the moment was guilt and it makes him sick

Ruffnut stood up and then sighed "well I'm gonna go see Snotlout go to bed with him and....."

"Okay Ruff I don't need to now that last part" Hiccup said chuckling slightly

"I was gonna say sleep but now that you mention it........yeah screwing him sounds more fun, thanks Hiccup" she said as she walked out the hut with a sedistic look on her face

Hiccup sighed then chuckled shaking his head, all this happened in a matter of weeks and it was all pretty insane what can happen in a short time

A few hours later Hiccup was sat in the hut fiddling with the knife he had in his armour waiting for Astrid to come out

And soon the curtain was pushed back and Astrid walked out, hiccup stood up and went over to her but she walked straight past him and out the door with a sad look on her face

"Astrid? gothi what happened in there?" he asked

"The process was successful"

"Okay good" hiccup said folding his arms across his chest but the elders face said there was something else "And?"

"She insisted before I destroyed it that she could see the featus" she said, hiccup then sat back down and sighed holding his head in his hands

"I tried to say no but she begged me" she said "so I handed it to her and she...........she kissed the tiny things head and started to cry, once she handed it back to me I destroyed it immediately and gave her the necessary herbs she needed to allow her body to heal"

Hiccup sighed sadly ad stood up "thank you for all your work gothi, its very much appreciated " he said and he turned away and walked out the door trying not to break down into tears

Later that evening Astrid was laying in her bed gently tracing the scar on her wrist that branded her a traitor, she sighed and squeezed her eyes shut at the memory of the pain when the scolding metal touched her skin

But she was snapped out of her thoughts when there was a knock at her bedroom door

"Come in" she called as she sat up on the edge of her bed not giving a single damn if she was only wearing her tunic and leggings

The door to her room opened and in came Valka to see how she was doing "hi valka" she said softly

"Hello dearest" she responded "how are you feeling?" she asked as she walked over to the young blonde and sat down beside her

"Broken, worthless, beaten"

Valka sighed and wrapped her arm round Astrid pulling her into a loving hug "now now Astrid non of those things are true, you need to forget about the past and focus on the future" she said

"Last time I did that I ended up sleeping with someone who wasn't hiccup" Astrid said without any time in her voice

Valka looked at Astrid and remembered something Stoick said to her years ago "Stoick once said to me that no matter who hiccup belonged to he would always love me, and that even if hiccup wasn't his child he would still love him and me the same way he always has done"

"And I bet hiccup will be the same way with you, he loves you and no matter what he always will"

Astrid couldn't help but smile at her comforting words, it made her feel a little better about what she went through during the last few weeks

"Thanks Valka, I don't know what id do without you sometimes" she said smiling at her "you'd probably struggle" she said making the two of them laugh

"Come by my house tomorrow and I can sort out that scar and get it removed ok" she said standing up to make her way out

"Valka its a scar it can't be removed" Astrid said

Valka just started to laugh, "I spent 20 years with dragons Astrid, don't you think I would've learnt a few healing tricks during that time" she said smiling "my house tomorrow and don't be late" she said

"I won't I promise" and with that valka left and Astrid laid back down on her bed and drifted into a soft slumber

Things were finally starting to look good for her now

AND THAT'S ANOTHER CHAPTER DONE
