Ashton had been on tour for 3 months and you missed him so much, you would text and call each other everyday. Today you got a random text.

from luke "Hey (y/n), since it's Ashtons birthday in a week I was wondering if you could maybe help us give him the best present ever?"

Luke was like a brother that you've never had. He took care of you and would text you the occasional "hey, how are you."

from you "Hey Lukey, I would love to help you guys!"  You were so excited about what they might have came up with. Thoughts flew through your mind as you were trying to figure out what it might be.

from Luke "Sweet, okay so here's the deal, I was wondering if you want to surprise him while we're doing our show in California?"

You had never been out of Australia before and you were so excited. But there was one problem.

from you "Luke, I have no money, as much as I'd love to, I just can't afford it right now."

You missed Ash so much and you really wanted to see him for his birthday but knowing you had no money to give him the best surprise ever, made you upset.

from Luke "All flights and everything paid for."

you were jumping up and down with your hair going everywhere. You just couldn't believe it. This time next week you'll be in Ashtons muscular arms.

from you "yes oh my god, thank you Lukey, I love you!! I'll see you guys in a few days."

Luke emailed all the flights and accommodation and show details to you.

The days flew by so quickly and you were just so excited to see your boyfriend.

-4 days later-

You were boarding your plane and you were so excitedly. There were so many chills that you just could not control. As much as you would love to, you had never been to the boys shows. Luke was meeting you at LAX airport and he will be taking you to your hotel and showing you around the place.

You wake up and realise that today was Ashtons birthday.

from you "Happy birthday babe, I hope you are having a really awesome day and im sorry I couldn't be there with you. you mean the world to me and I love you so much. I can't wait to see you when you get home."

You had to be chill about it because you didn't want to ruin the surprise that you're going to their concert and surprising him on stage.

from Ashton " Hey beautiful, thank you so much. I miss you lots and lots, I'll see you when I get home. have an amazing day, I wish you could be here my babe. I love you so so much."

He was oblivious to the fact that you are in California and he was seeing you in less than 12 hours.

Luke gave you some money so you could go get something beautiful to dress in.

You get a pair of Purple skinny jeans and an Arctic Monkeys tee. You get ready.

Luke drives you to the venue and all you could think about was if Ashton was going to be surprised. Luke noticed a worried look on your face.

"What's wrong (y/n)?" He looks confused.

"I..I..What if he's not surprised? im just nervous. My stupid nerves get the best of me sometimes." You explain to Luke.

"He will be so surprised, he will love it." Luke convinced me.

He gave you your backstage pass and your onstage pass and you were ready to go.
