"Everyone just calm down okay"

"Calm down? Are you fucking kidding me Ali? There is someone trying to kill us and you're talking about calming down get a grip"

"Philip don't talk to her like that okay she's just trying to help no one knows what to do and we're all scared"

Suddenly there was a knock at the door and everyone instantly stopped talking and quickly looked towards the door.

I felt frozen my body was officially numb and I couldn't see myself moving. Jenn looked over to me and that's when the door swung open and what we saw changed our lives.

2 months earlier:

Yes finally summer is here and I'll be a senior once school reopens. I was looking forward to vacation this year because we all decided that we'd go somewhere different instead of the cabin. My group of friends and I have known each other forever our parents are close and we've always attended the same schools and now we'll be graduating together.

In total there is seven of us Jennifer, Philip, Ryan, Dominique, Valentina, Michael, and Me Alison but they all call me Ali. I'm closer to Jennifer and Philip they're my best friends I love them to death. After my dad left the family to be with his mistress they were the only ones there for me helping me deal with it. I had a good relationship with everyone else but we just weren't as close.

No one understood how we're friends honestly we all came from different backgrounds and had complete opposite personalities.

It started in preschool actually one day I was in the sandbox you know just building castles and Philip took a bucket of sand and dumped it on my head. Jenn saw what happened and basically ran over and pushed his face into the sand and it was history from there.

We met everyone else in grade school and we accepted them with open arms. Philip is the "Bad boy" but deep down he was like a little puppy but usually I only saw that side. Jennifer was just your average "girl next door" but very few knew that she was basically a genius. Dominique was the "tomboy" she nearly played every sport known to mankind and you'd never catch her in a dress for any occasion.

Michael was sort of just the "Jock" he was captain of our high school football team and the number one high school quarterback in the state of California. Every college wanted him to play for them and every girl threw themselves at him. Valentina was the cheerleader not the bitching kind but she had her days but she was a genuinely nice person it was hard not to like her.

Ryan was the "Quiet one" but get some liquor into this one and he became a wild animal his nickname was "Ry the party guy" it was so corny. Last but certainly not least is me Alison I'm just the "Average one" I kept to myself and liked the fact that everyone wasn't in my business they knew my name but certainly not my story.
