I looked back to make sure Luke was still distracted before quickly sitting down next to Alfie and saying, "Look Alfie, I don't know how you found me or what you want but you better leave me alone... I'm happy now..."

He rolled his eyes before saying, "Don't be so vain, do you really think I would come looking for you after 10 years, fuck that!"

I shot him a glare before storming away from the table and straight back to Luke.

"Woah, you okay?" He chuckled, I start noticing my bad mood. I giggled nervously before saying, "uh, sorry, we should go."

He sighed before saying, "You're not gonna finish your coffee?"

I looked behind him, seeing Alfie smirking at me and quickly said, "Can we please just go?"

"Are you okay?" Luke said, closing the car door and walking towards the house. "Your never that quiet in the car..."

I sighed, rubbing my forehead and saying, "I'm just stressed."

"What's up?" He said, frowning at me before unlocking the door. I've told him about everything that happened before I moved schools and he didn't exactly seem happy about tonnage, whether it was unhappy about what I did to Finn, what Jack did to Finn or what Alfie did to me. I should probably leave Luke out of this.

"Nothing, just bad memories." I sighed, wandering into the living room and slumping in the sofa.

"Wanna talk about it?" He asked, taking a seat beside me, but I was quick to shake my head.

I sighed, taking a breath before knocking on Niomis door. She always thought I should have spoken to Alfie again, and tried to even trick me into meeting up with him without realising it, but eventually she just gave up... I couldn't begin to imagine how she'd react when she doesn't out if seen him again.

"Zoe." She said, smiling as she opened the door to m. We hang out often so she wasn't exactly surprised to see me at her door. "Come in."

I stepped inside, and I could tell she could sense how anxious I was as she furrowed her eyebrows and sent me a knowing look. "What's happened? Is t Luke... I swear to God if he hurt you I'll hang him from my balcony by his-"

"Lukes been great!" I quickly interrupted. "But..." Niomi looked at me, realising I didn't want to finish the sentence and she widened her eyes before saying, "Oh my God, you've met someone else! Are they cute?"

I sighed, shaking my head. "I haven't met someone else... Well I have but... Fuck how do I say this... I saw Alfie earlier..."

"Oh my fucking God, Alfie Deyes? The high school jerk?" She said, taking a minute to adjust to the new information. "How did you even bump into him? He moved away like 8 years ago!"

I sighed saying, "I know! I was getting coffee with Luke and it's just, he was there and he just kind of sent me his signature smirk and started acting all cocky and I hate him but... Ugh Niomi help."

"Well you don't still like him do you?" She said, leaning towards me slightly. I sighed, thinking about it for a moment. I don't like Alfie? Do I?

"Come on Cody." I smiled, taking the boys hand, but he just seemed to send me a grumpy look as he sat down randomly in the middle of the playground, attempting to pull me down with him.

"What's wrong this time?" I said, rolling my eyes and crouching down to his level.

"Where's Daddy!"

"Daddy's at work, now come on, Aunty Niomi is with Vicky at home so we need to be quick!" I said, trying to pick the boy up.

"I don't like her, she smells funny." I couldn't help but laugh at the immature childish behaviour but I now managed to pick the boy up and start making my way to car the car as I said, "That's mean, you should say that."

He giggled and said, "It's true though!" And I rolled my eyes before bopping his nose.

Everyone's coming at me like "where's Zalfie?"
