My eyes fluttered open slowly, as I tried to wiggle out of the spot I'm in. But a pair of strong arms held me in my spot by my waist, and of course those arms belonged to none other than the man I met last night Jake. I lifted his arms from my body and placed them around a pillow, which he snuggled into. I snickered and padded over to the kitchen, to make some coffee.
After five minutes of searching I finally found the kitchen which was quite marvelous, granite counter tops. Nice stove, large pantry, but the best part was probably the spinning bar stools. Yes I do act like a child, but whatever. I walked over to the coffee pot and well made coffee, I was sitting down looking around the kitchen with my mug when Jake walked in with only boxers on. I took all my self control not to gawk at his perfectly toned six pack, I simply looked around at anything but him. Until he cleared his throat.
"Good morning." Jake said sleepily.
"Yeah, I made coffee if you want some." I replied looking down at my cup, playing with the rim. He mumbled a sure and walked over to the coffee pot and pouring some into a mug. He put in a three and a half spoon fulls of sugar and a dash of cream, I smiled to myself because that's exactly what I like in my coffee. "Looks like we have the same taste in coffee." I said motioning to my mug.
"Ya don't say?" Jake smirked, while walking over to sit on the bar stool next to me.
"I just wanted to say...you know... thanks for yesterday I guess." I said sheepishly.
"It really was no problem, I just saw you sitting in the rain without a jacket and didn't want you to die." He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly, " but I can't say I didn't enjoy having you in my bed last night." He winked at me, and me being the skill-full person I am ( note the sarcasm ) couldn't fight the blush creeping up my neck.
"Well not be like a one night stand or anything, but I should probably get home before this gets anymore awkward." I laughed awkwardly. Jake cleared his throat.
"Yes that would probably be a good idea, I just put your clothes in dryer last night so their just in there." He said pointing to what I assume is the laundry room. I nodded and went to change into my clothes

Jake walked me back to his front door, I grabbed my guitar off the floor beside the couch and slung it over my right shoulder.
"Thanks again for everything." I said smiling at him.
"Like I said no problem, I hope I see you again sometime soon. Maybe at the park tonight?" He questioned looking hopeful. I pondered his offer for a second.
"Sure, what the hell why not. Meet me by the swings at 7." I replied walking out the door, but not before I heard him yell.
"Don't even think about standing me up!" He called from behind me now.
"Wouldn't dream of it." I called over my shoulder sarcastically, but trust me I have no intention of not showing up tonight.

After taking 3 different subways I finally made it back home, or what I like to call hell. I walked through the front doors with my 'I-don't-give-a-shit' attitude, just to piss my dad off. I almost made it to my room undetected.
"Where the hell have you been young lady!?" my 'dad' boomed furiously.
"Out." I responded curtly.
