Chapter one Wow really?

"Ugh I don't wanna get up mom.", I groan while rolling off my bed. Literally. My face is now being strangled by the wood floor. "We'll honey today is the first day of you Junior year!", Mom says excitedly as if it's her junior year. You say it like its good thing too. "Breakfast is on the table downstairs.", Mom says while walking out of my room. "Ok mom", I say grumpily. This is not the way to wake up on your first day of school. I have the very perfect outfit to wear. Sweats and a white PINK    t-shirt. I know, I know. Not the typical first day of school outfit. But hey! I'm in a bad mood! My mom looked at me weird when I was eating my breakfast, she's more of a fancy dresser even when we go to Walmart. I dress fancy-ish as well, but it's school. I helped my mom do the dishes and then I went off to my car. Which is my precious 2015 Mustang. My parents kind of spoil me. I got inside my mustang and headed for school. When I got there I seen this really cute guy that wasn't there last year, so he must be new. I went into the huge doors of Sittlburg High school. But then I saw Clair-My arch-nemesis- and right when she seen me she rolled her eyes at me. Already? Why the heck does she not like me I'm nice to her?

"Oh my god, that really cute guy was staring at me today before first period!", I say excitedly to my Best friend of twelve years, Calli Bullback. She has Hazel eyes, blonde hair, and big lips. She is totally a cowgirl. She Barrel races and I go to every one of them. I figured that's what a best friend should do. But she can be rude at times, as well. I'm going to describe the guy I like now, he has beautiful brown skin, black hair that's short, only on his head, glasses, and a smile that lightens u-

My thoughts were interrupted by Braxtyn, the cute guy.

Act fast Lexi! Act fast! "Umm hey wazzup?", I say nervously. It sounded so weird when it came out of my mouth! "I mean hey Cute guy. I mean hey sexy. I mean hey Braxtyn.", I sputter. OH MY GOD! I JUST SAID THAT?

Cue the part when I bang my head on the table five thousand times.
He chuckled. "Hey, Lexi.", He says. How does he know my name? "How do you know my name?", I ask while, most likely, blushing. "I over heard your friend say it. Anyways, I was wondering if, maybe, you want to go out? Like boyfriend and girlfriend?", He says smoothly.

Oh my, I be I look like a tomato now.

"Y-yeah sure.", I say quickly. "Cool. I'll see yah later then?", He says with one eye brow raised. "My yeah sure.", I smile.

I exclaimed the exciting news to my mom she was excited too. My dad didn't really give a shoot about what happens at school and he doesn't like puppy love.

My mom, on the other hand, gushed at me. "Oh sweetie! It's about time you had a relationship.", She said while hugging me. Wow mom, thanks for saying that.
