When they're still kids...
They always go to their favorite place. The beautiful garden with the last mango tree planted on its green tall grass together with the overwhelming wind and it's wonderful view. Plus the hard rock stairs before the hill.
And they call it 'Hill of Fate'
They met when they are 10 years of age. The girl usually go to the hill and then she noticed the boy's sexy back.
"Uhmm. Excuse me? Taga dito ka ba?" she asked. Then the boy turned his back.
"Ah. Yeah. Hehe. Ang ganda ng view at ang sarap ng hangin eh." the boy replied.
"That's right. I always go here, you know. This is my favorite place. Uhm.. You said that you belong to this place but why can't I recognize you?" lumapit si girl palapit kay boy.
"Ahh. as you said so.. Hehe. Bagong lipat kami." the boy smiles at her. And the girl smile back to him.
"Nice to meet you." -girl. They shook their soft little hands.
"Nice to meet you too. Ahh wait." Inalis sa pagkakahawak ni boy ang kamay niya at lumapit sa mga bulaklak. Pumitas siya at lumapit ulit sa babae.
"This is for you." isuinuksok niya ito sa likod ng tenga ng babae.
"T-thanks." the girl blushed.
Simula nang magkakilala sila, nakatulong ito para magkalapit ang loob nila sa isa't isa. They have their schedule that they will meet in that same hill to take care of those beautiful flowers.
Lumipas ang maraming taon...
Lagi pa din silang napapadpad sa hill hindi lang dahil sa mga bulaklak, sariwang hangin, kundi para na din masulyapan ang napakagandang sunset na lagi nilang inaabangan.
Dumating ang araw na naging sila nung mga nasa edad disisais (16) sila.
Bumalik ulit sila sa mini hill nung malapit nang magtapos ang school year nang pagiging 4th year highschool nila.
Nagke-kwentuhan sila habang naka upo ang lalaki sa ilalim ng puno habang ang babae naman ay nakahiga at ang ulo nito ay nakapatong sa lap ng lalaki.
"Ahh.. A-ano kasi.. balak ni Mama na sa Amerika na ako mag-aral after this school year. S-sana maintindihan mo.." Pautal-utal na sabi ng lalaki sa babae. Halos hindi makagalaw ang babae sa narinig niya. So she just nod her head and smile to her boyfriend out of astonishment.
After some minutes they made their promises that they'll see each other after 4 years, so the girl immediately stand so that made the boy abruptly stand also.
Nahagip ng mga mata ng babae ang isang matulis na sanga ng puno at agad niya itong pinulot.
She go near the mango tree and started to sketch a heart to symbolize that her love to the boy is endless. ∞
