Chapter 7 {Saved...Or Not Saved?}

While they were busy hustling around and making more evil plots,mom was horrified. She stared at her mirror wide - eyed. "No! No no no no no! Why!? I need to go help them! I'm the only one in our family with magic powers that isn't kidnapped!" Mom said. Then she closed the magic window. With that,she grabbed scissors,potions(invisible potion speed potion,etc.),a black suit and mask. "Maybe I'll need a code breaker and a dds...and maybe a few tissues to clean them up." she mumbled to herself. Then she put her things into her black paw bag. Then she slipped into her suit. " I wonder if they'll notice I'm not one of them?" Mom asked herself. Her plan was that if she dressed like them, they wouldn't notice that she was here to save her family,instead of help them kidnap herself. Then,she opened a portal and then she stepped in.

Whoosh!

Mom stepped out of the portal and into darkness. She blinked a few times,because her eyes weren't used to the dark just yet. The only light she saw was a dim light coming from a lamp. That lamp casted eerie shadows along the walls. Once mom's eyes got used to the dark,she made out three shapes...
"Lauren! Angel! Robert!" Mom exclaimed. Then she quickly covered a paw over her mouth. "Had they heard me?" She wondered. She shook her head. "That's not important. I just need to rescue them and then we will be fine..." Mom mumbled. Then,she walked over. She pulled out a tissue and dabbed it at Lauren's head. Then,she did the same with Angel and dad. Then she pulled the duct tape off and cut the ropes off. Then,she used healing potions and healed them. Lauren's eyes fluttered open as she immediately recognized her mom standing infront of her. "Mom!" Lauren cried,and wrapped her paws around mom in a huge loving hug. When Angel got up,she came over for a hug and then dad,too. Then mom explained everything to them. "Sweetie, I actually thought they would catch you too!" Dad said. "Oh no,Robert,have you forgotten what I do to protect my loved ones?" Mom asked,then gave a chuckle. Suddenly,the doors swung open,and Lord Decoda stepped in. "Ah,I see my plan has worked after all!" Smirked Lord Decoda. "No! Not again,not ever!" Screamed mom,and then she began making a portal. Dad helped, and so did Lauren and Angel. Once the portal was big enough,they jumped through,one at a time. Lauren went last,in time to here Lord Decoda shout: "You may have gotten away this time,but next time you will give me what I want!"

Back at home

The lights were on,and everything was just as it was. It has been a week,and Lauren has already made three friends: Taylor,Claire,and Abigail. They were all dachshunds,but each of them different and unique. They had made a oath to never betray each other and that friendship comes first,no matter what. Also,that they will tell each other their deepest secrets,even if its hard. But Lauren had to hide her own. She did tell them her other secrets,but not this one. She has used her magic out in public for good deeds,but made sure no one ever saw. So,it was a Friday morning...
