"Nien. Run." Brandon said with cold eyes. "No!" I sternly replied. "I'm not leaving you!" Brandon turned and quickly tried to keep the zombies jaws from closing down on his head. I frantically searched for a weapon. Anything that would allow me to help Brandon. I scanned the church then settled for a glass vase sitting on a window seal. Quickly, I wrapped my pale hands around it. Here goes nothing. I came up behind the dark eyed beast and slammed the vase into its head. Glass went every where causing me to lose my blance. "You saved me," Brandon said lending a hand to help me up. "No problem" I said picking out pieces of glass from my blond hair. Brandon picked up my duffle bag and we dashed across the street and into a nearby dense forest. Panting, we took cover in the branches of an oak tree. "Are you OK?" Brandon asked me. "Yeah, you?" He nodded. Brandon's stomach growled angerly at him I liffed my bag and sat it on a branch and pulled out some cheese crackers. I handed him the food. Brandon thanked me with his eyes.
Brandon caught me staring at his shoes."yhea, that's zombie blood,"
"Howed that happen?" I questioned.
"You've got to do what you've got to do," he said, a clear tear running down his cheek.I brushed a string of hair out of his face, and wiped away the tear.
