Daniel and his sister both arrive at school at the same time but little do they know their school day is going to be differently unusual than normal. Daniel catches up to his sister Alexis and shakes her from behind forcing her to face him. "How can you just leave mum like that?>"

Alexis laughs "Like What?, She was fine.."

Daniel yells at her annoyed "FINE?, SHE WAS CLOSE TO COLLAPSING YOU MORON!
Alexis shakes her head and ignores him walking away from the situation and heading into school.

One of Daniels best friends Tessa is standing by the door and having heard everything she stops Alexis from entering the school.
"I heard What just happened, You leaving your mum on her own when she was close to collapsing is not Cool!."
Alexis gets annoyed. "Get out of my way uncool person." Alexis forcibly pushes Tessa out of her path.
Tessa falls onto the ground and Daniel rushes to help her up. "Are you okay?."
Tessa checks herself over and nods "What on earth did you deserve to get a sister like that?."
Daniel laughs "Believe me, lately I've been asking myself the exact same question..No matter how hard I try with her she's always like that".

Tessa shrugs "There comes a point when you give up trying though."

Daniel sighs "I'm not making excuses for her but this morning hasn't exactly helped."

Tessa frowns "How do you mean,What happened?."

Daniel grins at her. "Long story short..Dad's back."

Tessa looks concerned. "Your right your making excuses."

Daniel stares at her. "She hates him and he wants custody... How am I making excuses for her?."
Tessa looks shocked "Wow can he do that?... This is your sister we are talking about here being a vicious cow she deserves everything she gets."

Daniel pouts "Like you said that's my sister weather I like her or not I have to put up with her.. And my mum is pretty much at breaking point... I think she praying that the judge doesn't go with him or he changes his mind or something."

Tessa grins "All I can say thank god she's not my sister, I'd kill her on the first day of puberty."

Daniel winces at the thought of those two in a car fight. "Absolutely not.. The last thing I would want is you hurt and even though she's mean she doesn't deserve that."

Tessa rolls her eyes "Thank god for you taking the moral high ground."

Daniel grins "Someone's got to."

They walk into their building together side by side till they reach both of their lockers that sit together. "So what else have I missed?."
Daniel shrugs "Not much unless you count the fact My sister this morning told me she doesn't believe in Santa."

Tessa's jaw suddenly drops. "Your kidding me right?... Doesn't she know the dangers of that?."

Daniel looks at her Solemnly. "I tried to tell her.. I didn't get a chance to tell her all the implications of that comment."

Tessa raises her eyebrows. "Wow your sister has gone to a whole new level.. You need to do something.. You've heard all the horror stories right?."

Daniel shrugs "Do they actually exist?..."

Tessa nods "You have a lot to learn boy." She grabs him and pushes him into a nearby class room. " You remember Ryan Rodgers and Sarah Beecher's?.

Daniel nods "Vaguely yeah.."

Tessa tuts "You don't remember them do you?."

Daniel hangs his head "Your right I honestly don't so enlighten me."

Tessa sighs "The reason why you don't remember them is because they went missing."

Daniel starts to get impatient "And.."

"And both of them said something to their friends they shouldn't have.. They both didn't believe in Santa."

Daniel laughs "That doesn't necessarily mean anything though."

"It was little things at first nightmares and that kind of thing but then they went missing never to be seen again."

Daniel has tears in his eyes from laughing at her story. "Sounds like a real bad horror story to me."

Tessa looks at him annoyed. "Fine don't believe me but don't say I didn't warn you.. You have been warned."
They exist the classroom and head to their first class of the day together.
