Niall's Birthday |ONE SHOT|

I sat on the bed listening to One Direction's "One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)" on repeat. I love the song and I would sing to it all the time.

Beep. Beep.

I checked my phone, I got a text from my friend Taylor. I unlocked my phone and read her text.

'Lilly! I got 1D tickets :DDDDD'

I screamed, I couldn't believe it!

I texted back my fingers shaking.

'VIP??? Backstage???'

Beep.

'YUP AND YOU'RE GOING WITH ME!! Oh, it's tomorrow too. And in Baltimore. GET READY AND COME OVER.'

I jumped up, grabbed clothes and my charger, also my phone. I ran into my living room and said bye to my mom and little sister than ran to Taylor's house.

-Skipping To The Backstage Part After The Concert-

"Seems like only two girls are here this time," Harry's sweet voice called as he opened the door to let us in. Taylor ran in and jumped on Zayn, but I just walked in casually. I noticed Niall sitting in the back of the room and went back to him.

"Hi," I said shyly waving a little. He waved at me back and smiled sadly. "Happy birthday, Niall."

He looked up at me and smiled a real smile, not a sad one, "At least someone remembers." I hugged him and inhaled his sweet Axe cologne, he didn't put a lot on because I could smell his Irishy sent. He hugged me tightly back.

"No one remember?" I asked quietly, sitting next to him. He shook his head and I nodded as if to understand because no one remembered my birthday. "Well, yesterday was my birthday and no one remembered. Only my mom and sister did."

He looked at me and smiled, "How old are you? And what's your name?"

"Its Lilly. Just turned 18. And you're 19, right?"

He nodded with his smile growing. It was silent for a moment between us then Niall said, "Let me take you to dinner. As a... birthday present to both of us."

I smiled and nodded, "Alright. Where to?"

"I don't believe there is a Nando's around here, so want to go to Denny's or something?"

"Denny's is fine."

Niall stood and took my hand, pulling me up.

"Thanks."

"You're welcome."

Louis and Liam stopped us from leaving.

Liam had a goofy smile on his face and Louis had his brow furrowed.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"To Denny's. Moooove pleeeeeaaase," Niall complained cutely, making me giggle.

They stepped out of the way and Niall lead me to their tour bus.

"Ladies first," Niall said politely and waited for me to get in. I smiled and blushed lightly and stepped into the tour bus.

It's a lot bigger than you may think, it looks like two of my rooms. I sat on the booth seat and waited for Niall.

He came in with a small flower he picked from the grass, "Alright, take us to Denny's, please." The driver nodded and started the tour bus.

Niall came and sat next to me. "Here, this is yours." He handed me the small white flower with a smile.

I took the flower and twirled it between my thumb and index finger.

-Skipping To Denny's After They Got Food-

I ate my pancakes and giggled at Niall, he was stuffing a lot in his mouth.

"What?" He said with a mouthful, I laughed harder and then got the hiccups.

"Aw... hick... man." I said, hiccuping a lot.

Niall swallowed all his food and smiled, "I'll cure you!" He picked up my hand and kissed my knuckles. I blushed a crimson color and stopped hiccuping.

"Thanks," I whispered, eating more of my pancake.

He smiled largely and stuffed his mouth again, with eggs this time. I giggled, but covered my mouth so I wouldn't get the hiccups.

"This is the best day ever," I said to myself, chewing up more of my pancakes.

After we finished, I tried to pay, but Niall did. And we went back to the bus and started to go back.

"I had a great time tonight," I said hugging Niall.

He hugged me back and pulled out a sheet of paper. He wrote his Kik name and number, and put a heart on it. I smiled as he folded it up and gave it to me. I took it and slide it in my back pocket. Then- he kissed me, softly but with force. I kissed back, throwing my arms around him. He then pulled back and smiled as the bus stopped.

"Come on, lets go," he said tugging me out of the bus.

When me and Taylor were leaving, Niall gave me a hug and whispered, "Text me later."

I smiled and said I would. Then we left.

That was officially the best day ever.
