Sweat trickled down my neck causing goosebumps to rise on my skin. I lifted my head slowly feeling a strain in my neck causing a pulsing pain to be sent through my body. My hands were tied behind my back preventing me from escaping from this overly uncomfortable chair. I was having difficulty keeping my eyes open, almost as if someone were shutting them by force. I looked around the room only seeing certain things the rest, a blur. From what I saw I could tell I was in a basement, it was dark and cold with minimal to no lighting. I tried to scream but nothing came out, instead I starting coughing uncontrollably because my throat was so dry. After my fit was over, the door to this dungeon slowly crept open. A tall, lanky figure walked over to where I was. He had long curly brown hair and exceptional green eyes, for a kidnapper he was breathtaking. He knelt down in front of me and lifted his hand to caress my cheek. I turned my head away from his touch but that only made him angry. He returned to his standing position and walked out of the room with a scowl on his face. He shut it with a loud thud, but he didn't lock it. I tossed and turned in my seat trying to somehow by a miracle escape, sadly it didn't work. I wondered to myself how I ended up here, I couldn't recall the events leading up to this. How long have I been here? Was it day or was it night? Questions were circling around my mind and my heart began to race. Fear was running through my bones making everything in my body numb. The door slowly squeaked open and the mystery man walked through the threshold and shut it with a loud thud, making my whole body shake. He walked around to behind my chair. Moving my hair to one side of my head he slowly guided a cold, sharp edge along my neck directly under my ear. The cold blade had cut my neck causing it to throb with pain. He lowered his head and placed his lips on the now bleeding cut and kissed it with light pecks. I know that this shouldn't effect me but it did. My cold skin was burning as soon as his lips touched it sending shock waves through my body. He raised his head and moved in front of me, giving me a clear view of him. He knelt down in front of me and ran his hand from the top of my thigh to just below my knee, sending shivers down my spine. The things he does to me isn't right. His hands skillfully untied the ropes around my hands loosening them allowing the blood to freely flow back to them. He stood up to his full height, towering over me in the chair. "Get up." I did as he asked not wanting to cause any more problems. Standing up from the chair my legs cracked indicating that I've been sitting for longer than I thought. The stranger started to walk out the door and in that split second when he had his back to me I thought about fighting back. But something deep in my bones told me not to, don't hurt him cause maybe he's just looking for a friend. Then on the other hand he did kidnap me, doesn't exactly sound like someone who is looking for a friend. My feet started to move and before I could react to what was happening I was following the beautiful stranger. He lead us down a long dark hallway the only sound that could be heard was the dripping of water. My bare feet were trying their best to avoid water puddles and anything else that could seriously harm them. We came to a halt in front of a door which I'm guessing lead outside. He pushed open the door and stepped aside to allow me to go first. Stepping forward the cool air hit my face and I welcomed it. Opening my eyes I scanned the surroundings only to be greeted with miles of trees. My mind was spinning trying to figure out where the hell I could be. Nothing. Just then I felt a hand on the small of my back and the stranger appeared in front of me. "Run". His words confused me. What did he mean by run? His eyes were staring directly into mine, causing my knees to go weak. "Run". He repeated his words this time with more aggression. My feet took off into a sprint before I knew what was happening. The wind hit my face as I ran through the trees, jumping over branches trying my best to avoid falling. I wasn't going to be the girl in a horror film that fell as she was running for her life. Tress were whipping past me at the speed of light, my legs went numb with pain but I didn't care. Have you ever been in a situation where you asked why me? Why was I the one thrown into this hell on earth? Why was I so affected by him? Questions were flying around me and before I knew it I was heading straight for a a road. Without hesitation I ran right into the middle of it and the last thing I saw before it all went black were the bright headlights of an on coming car.
