For those of you who read Second, welcome back. For those of you who haven't, I'm afraid you've stumbled upon a sequel and will probably be rather confused.
This is going to be a different kind of story - less action, certainly. But I figured I'd just go ahead and write what I think comes next; the one advantage of not being paid for your work is that you're free to indulge your authorial eccentricities. I hope you enjoy it, at any rate.
Finally, criticism is more than welcome; the plan is to write through and then edit once I have the bones in place, and I have been fighting with the outline.
